All BS aside about Alabama.

Taking out all the self aggrandizing of the Texas win, looking at Alabama.
Defense is quite good. Special Teams borderline excellent, Offense running game is underrated..
Is it a bridge too far to see them getting their offensive line fixed, at least serviceable enough, to make a serious run at the SEC?

One thing that’s gonna help Bama going forward is they have finally settled on their QB and they will accept his limitations and adjust to it - I am just surprised it took OC Rees and Little Nicky an entire month to make these adjustments.

Bama is not out of it until they are mathematically eliminated. There is plenty of talent there and if the QB position clicks (which seems rough right now) they can flip the switch as well as anyone.

We eagerly anticipate another Alabama/Texas game in the playoffs.

Gump: “If you don’t do math, you can never be mathematically eliminated.”
All BS aside, Bama is always a threat simply due to pure talent.
If they figure it out this year…watch out.

One dimensional offense, but we’re more talented than everybody left on the schedule. Think LSU and A&M will be tough, but should win the rest.

Weird. I made the exact same point yesterday and was met with unanimous downvotes.

I guess some people will just have to see it for themselves before they believe it - and even then, some won't.
I "hate" Alabama and agree they aren't the juggernaut of years past, but they are not terrible and will still likely win all but 1-2 games during the regular season.

Alabama does not suck. They simply haven't identified who/what they are yet. As soon as they settle on an identity and stick with it, they'll be fine.
This game shows they're figuring it out. Run the ball. Give Milroe easy reads/throws and if it's not there, take what he can get on the ground. Do that consistently, take scores when they come, and play good defense.
They are not going to be an easy win for ANYone this season.

We're like AI, we're learning. Luckily for us our biggest SEC challenge awaits us in November.

Rees is a younger Mike Bobo so don't expect too much adjustments.

Gotta love UGA fans. They "hate" Saban and carry an almost unhealthy obsession yet had no reservations about hiring his top disciple while strangely modeling their entire program after his.

Alabama could lose or win just about every game on their remaining schedule and it wouldn't surprise me

The winner of the Bama/LSU game will lose to UGA in the SEC title game. The end.

Bama offensively in 2023 is going to be similar to Jalen Hurts before he was benched with more turnovers and better vertical passing.
They had Milroe running the old offense against Texas and he simply can’t process well enough to get it done.
What he can do is run like the wind and is surprisingly solid throwing vertically when the first read is there.
If the OL can run power and they will let him operate a one read RPO scheme the offense will be good but not ultra elite like recent years.

If A&M doesn’t shite the bed vs Arky ( which Jimbo and Durkinare capable of) the night game at Kyle against Bama should be interesting.
Milroe on the road against a decent defense.

Poor coaching

Yeah, I'm curious to see how he plays in a hostile environment. Curious but not optimistic.

Nah, it's just the talent and not coaching... Rees can't get the players to play well... at least that's what some Alabama fans keep telling me.

So you mean after they come to College Station?

Not trying to troll, but I don’t see A&M being impactful on deciding the West this year

Let’s see if we can beat a bad Arkansas team by more than a field goal. Then we will know.
