Alabama’s football twitter account just changed to a white out logo and said “stay tuned”. People are speculating they might drop throwback white helmets

My guess is that we wear white helmets for the 50th anniversary of the wishbone game in Los Angeles against USC (we wore white helmets in the 1970 Bam Cunningham game and the 1971 wishbone game)........since we open with USC this year.

I'd love for us to honor old Alabama teams with throwbacks. Because we have such classic uniforms the differences would be slight, but it'd be neat.
A lot like what A&M has done recently.
1992 throwbacks with the patch and iron on numbers
1979 throwbacks without the names and with the same letters and white socks with crimson around the top
