Yeah our secondary will cost us some games this year - definitely our weak spot

I don't think it will cost us some games. It will cost us some points, but our offense is elite enough to overcome our secondary.

When are we getting key Lawrence back? That should help.

Also our run D is so potent most teams throw a shite ton on us. And it skews stats. I think the secondary is fine.

Everything Bo said on the podcast tonight was…. eye opening to say the least.

Jeffrey Wright is god awful. Every fricking time Bo was telling or story or was getting ready to tell something, he would interrupt him or cut him off by saying “Yeah Bo Bo Bo Bo Bo! What about that LSU game though??!” or try to make some stupid witty response about Freeze instead of letting Bo fricking talk. He’s like that person in your friend group that has to get a word in or bring attention to himself and tries too hard to be “cool”.

You clearly have not watched LSU if you think you’re the most undisciplined team. For all the rambling Kelly does about discipline and alignment we look like orgeron on a bender when it comes to those two topics.

Excited to see ole miss play Kentucky and Carolina. I’ve only watched a few minutes but offense looks incredible, I did notice the secondary is the only sign of a weak spot.

My only hope is a night game in Death Valley and the magnolia bowl being a game where you throw stats out the window. Otherwise I don’t see any way the Rebs don’t drop 45 on LSU. Baker is great but it’s amazing how devoid of talent we are on defense. It is a huge indictment of Brian Kelly to fail to at least have a better foundation on defense in year three. It’s really bad.

Sometimes reading this board makes me think we’ll be lucky to go to the Liberty Bowl

I mean, we dropped 50+ last year and still could have lost. Definitely has a similar feel, but hopefully the lack of Nabors and Thomas helps.

On the post game radio show, Kiffin was very happy with the fans.

Tell us you haven’t watched any of the LSU games without telling us. They were tied with UCLA at half-time yesterday. The same UCLA that is battling with State to see who has the worst P4 team in CFB.

I have watched 90% of the LSU snaps this year (excluding Nichols). Their defense will absolutely give up chunk plays, but Nussmeier is legit. Doesn’t have the run ability of Daniels and has been hurt by his o line/receivers, but given our DB issues against freaking GASO, I stand by my post.

Could we blow them out? Sure. But Nussmeier is good enough to go blow for blow like last year if our defense gives him time.

Nuss is a statue. Get him moving and I’m not worried.

But lsu so I’ll never count it as a win.

Dear God, if you have watched them and come away saying that they will be able to go score for score with Ole Miss you really have no concept of football. The LSU D is bad. As in the worst LSU D fielded since Dinardo bad. We should put up at least 40 points on them and I highly doubt their O can keep pace with that.

Key word, should. It’s Tiger Stadium and likely at night. Crazy shite happens there at night when we play

I didn’t say they will go blow for blow, I said they have enough talent to. We have given up a lot of passing yards to wake and ga so and LSU is way better than them on paper. Plus they will probably have Chris Hilton back.

I would probably put the theoretical line at OM -7.5. But it is a very loseable game.

Because no one can run on us.
We have the #1 Run D in the nation.

Teams are averaging 38 pass attempts per game on us. Only 10 teams in the country are getting passed on more. Yet we are only giving up 5.8 yards per pass attempt which is 28th in the country.

Our opponents sling it too.
Wake has the #6 pass offense.
MTSU has the #26 pass offense.
GA Southern has the #47 pass offense.

With the way Will Campbell has played I am betting Prince is hard as a rock thinking about pile driving Nuss. Sort of hard to complete passes when the pocket hotter than a frying pan over a propane stove!

I think Kentucky and USCe are better tests because of their DLs (which LSU has none).

Will they still be rolling with Ashford? USC is a lot less scary with him at QB

Outside of UGA, we should be favored in every game this season. If we just wins the games were supposed to, we are 11-1 and playoff bound.
