A one legged back up QB almost beat bama this past week.
well, HE didn't almost beat us, clearly.
He was 17/26 for 137 yard 2 tds(one in OT), 1 int(should've been 2), qbr of 49.4, and 7 rushes for -42 yards

Maybe I was watching a different game, but I didn't see Bama play like a shred of themselves until that final possession, and I've watched more of them this year than I have in any prior season.
We started to have a bit of success earlier. We just shot ourselves in the foot.

I will sign up for this. I wouldn't be shocked if we got blown out. I wouldn't be shocked if we blow them out. Nothing that can happen in this game would surprise me.
Very fair.

I love the week before a game.
Previous, sober, weeks it’s “that is a probable loss in our position. Gonna take it on the chin”
Then game week it’s just like when the alcohol starts flowing. someone getting drunker and drunker each day till Saturday when the famous words of “hey guys! watch this!” Inevitably get shouted.

Not saying AU's offense could have won the game.My point is, with a decent to better QB / offense, Aubbie's defense would have been a bit more rested towards the end of regulation. In turn, UGA's defense will be more rested, too.

The criticism that the Dawgs haven't had to play from behind and have the offense dig us out of a hole is accurate.
Where the analysis goes off the rails however is that due to the lights-out play of the defense, that hasn't happened for a *reason*, and it's not an accident/coincidence.

- The first 35 minutes of the game we had 63 yards, 1.8 YPP, a full game equivalent of 108 yards
- The last 25 minutes of the game we had 317 yards, 6.5 YPP, a full game equivalent of 701 yards
- We had 221 yards in the 4th quarter alone

I’ve been saying this since UGA played Clemson.

How did UGA and Bama do against common opponents?

The only reason Bama had any success in the second half is because Auburn moronically went away from the blitzing that was so successful in the first half.

There's nothing untrue about that, however that doesn't change the fact that they haven't been in that situation this season, and it could be a factor if they are in that situation. No one is faulting UGA for blowing teams out or saying that its a mystery as to why they've not had any close games.

Your defense is better than ours but ours is very good. Your offense isn’t even close to bamas offense.

You are correct in that when Bama's offense is playing their a-game and not making dumb mistakes, and blocking decent they are better than UGAs. But that hasn't been the case in several games this season unfortunately.

SOG do you really think 38k UGA fans can be loud enough to make us go to a silent count?
I was there 2018 and when Georgia was rolling it was a extremely loud. My guess is it was 70/30 in favor of Georgia fans.
Remember all the "neutral/corporate/MBS tickets" will pretty much go to Georgia fans (or at least people who don't want Alabama winning anymore).

Bama getting shut out is a more likely scenario. You’re delusional.

Bama's offense aint that good.
Georgia will be in your backfield all game.
Okay.
Nobody gives a shite about the Heisman anymore. Been that way for a long time now.
Nobody cares if you come back.

And I agree with George. I was at the last two SECCGs against UGA, and they made significant noise. That will be the case on Saturday as well.
Georgia fans can taste it this year. Yeah, they'll be loud.

40 ppg for Georgia to 42 for Bama. That's pretty damn close.
