SEC Refs will do work.

Auburn will win 30-28, after a wide receiver comes back inbounds to catch an 80 yard TD pass from the QB who's five yards past the line of scrimmage with less than 30 seconds left in the game.

It's been that kind of year.

State will win the toss and elect to receive. They'll complete a couple of 4 yard mesh routes then try to run on 3rd and 2 and stall.

Bo will come out and move the ball at will and Auburn will get up 7-0. State will throw a pick deep in their own territory but hold Auburn to a FG and it will be 10-0.

Sometime in the second quarter, State will score to make it 10-7, but give up a long pass play and Auburn will be up 17-7 at halftime.

Auburn will come out and go up 24-7 at the beginning of the second half, then State will catch fire and cut it to 24-21 with two quick scores. After a terrible officiating call, Auburn will answer early in the fourth quarter to go up 31-21, then get another FG to go up 34-21. With about 42 seconds left and no timeouts, State will score a garbage TD and have a horrible attempt at an onside kick.

34-28 Auburn.

Neither team has much to play for at this point, so who knows where their heads will be

I disagree with this. Neither Auburn nor State were ever making it to Atlanta this season, even though Auburn still has an unlikely path to Atlanta. The winner has a shot at a good bowl game, a win over their most hated rival, and top 20 finish, which would be unexpected for both given neither of them were ranked to begin the season.

How is that nothing to play for?

Yeah that’s a big “if” with the way Auburn looked against A&M last week

It is a huge "IF" I agree.
I did plainly state that I wasn't saying it WOULD happen.

Our defense is going to keep us in the game with anyone barring a total meltdown on offense & special teams with turnovers.
Look at UGA and TAMU, even with the horrible offense, we were still in both games into the 4th Q.
This has been a strange year across all of CFB, and we are as likely to lose all three as we are to win all three honestly.

The biggest issue we face against y'all IMHO is not giving up big pass plays and getting into a shootout. If that happens we are in trouble. We have to establish a running game and try to limit the number of plays our defense has to be on the field.

Either way, it's just a football game.

I just do not have a good feeling about this game. I'm glad we are getting it over with in the 11am slot haha
