Eh, I’ve got no interest in having a kid who is going to tweet that out on the team.

Good luck to him if he wants out.

See ya in the streets. The program is what it is because it typically weeds out the quitters in the recruiting process.

No interest in soft football players anymore. There are enough getting playing time

If he has WRs playing over him that shouldn't especially after the spring he had and the praise Saban gave him, I can't really blame him...

I mean Treshon Holden finally got real burn and we're all wondering why he hasn't been playing.

Agile looked better than Holden in spring.

It's not up to him or you who should or shouldn't be playing, thankfully.

I’m sure there are reasons he’s not playing. Maybe he should be out there, idk, I don’t go to practice or know if he’s doing what he needs to do off the field.

But, putting stuff like that on Twitter is a huge red flag to me. Guys who do that after a 40 point win aren’t team players imo.

Brandon Gibson used to ball out in spring practice, guy looked like an All-American. Gibson never did anything in a real game.

You can't really go by what happens in spring practice, lots of things change between mid April and when the season starts.

Repeat from game thread, but it will only get harder to manage talent and egos when they are making mega-money through NIL.

Not sure what is keeping Hall from playing time, but I'm guessing it is effort Mon-Fri and commitment to the off field reqs Saban has for his players. He is a hell of a talent. Would hate to lose him. Hopefully he works it out and sticks with it to EARN some snaps. He could be very special.

But, I think it is clear that talent alone isn't enough at this level. Team first attitudes are what win championships. That alone is what made 2020 so damn special. Best TEAM effort ever.

So why is he in the dog house?

He’s clearly a special talent.

No one has ever shite on his talent, but apparently he isn’t doing what it takes to get on the field. Can’t blame Saban, he’s shown that they play freshmen when they earn it

He’s deleted the tweet now. Hopefully he stays and stays patient. His time will come.

He also retweeted something after the A&M game about needing to play him, Arnold, and Kool-aid.

I'm less concerned about him being upset about playing time and sending a tweet about I am his mind going there immediately after a big win.

Metchie got asked about Hall’s tweet.

quote:

Following the game, John Metchie III was asked about Hall’s comment. The starting receiver said he did not see the tweet but offered some advice to his freshman teammate.

“It’s just the process, the process of being here,” Metchie said. “I remember what it was like as a freshman. I guess my words of encouragement would just be, it’s a process and you got to keep going.”

That's the problem... they're told they have a chance to win a job, and if they are the best player they will play... clearly he feels like that's not true for whatever reason, and after watching the starting wrs this year its hard to understand how he hasn't been given an opportunity after being called "one of our best playmakers" by CNS on a hot mike during ADay. He was the no.1 wr on espn in the country

Doesn't matter how he "feels."

One part of me wants to say… I hope this young man gets it together even if our coaches aren’t playing the right talent

The other part of me wants to say… good, opens up more spots on the roster (hope we don’t have to do this too much)

Hope he gets what he wants out of the situation, "tweet and deletes" are usually for attention.
