There's a reason they stick him on all the Pac games at 1AM. He's a Pac guy and tries to talk them up.
The most offensive thing about him is that he's just not interesting and isn't a compelling broadcaster and not particularly thoughtful or really good at his job.
And no coach has cornered the market on yelling.
Also, Cristobal isn't white, he's Hispanic and hopefully Gilmore apologizes for misidentifying Cristobal's race.

If you read Rod’s tweet before seeing the clip, you’d think Cristobol pulled out his belt and started whipping the kid. It was a coach chewing a player who just made a selfish, costly penalty. BFD. Mario was totally in line and to the kids credit, took it like a man. Glad to see him getting annihilated in the replies.
It’s a shame that Ron Franklin got fired for calling Holly Rowe “sweety” yet Gilmore can racebait like this and probably get a promotion.

Is it more racist to call a Cuban-American of clear Hispanic descent "white." IDK, but either way.
The penalty was dumb as celebration was not major.

Going to be a whole lot of black men who don't make it in life if we stop letting white men chew them out.
The reality is that a large majority of black men don't have a father figure. If a white coach ends up being that figure who teaches him how to act, then that's a GOOD thing, not a bad thing.
