Can someone explain to me why she is considered espn football expert?
What is her background? Like why should anyone care what her opinions in the college football playoff teams are? Or anything in college football? Who is she?
Everytime they show her on the app or tv she’s in her damn house. It just seems so weird

She's right there with Finebaum when it comes to X's and O's.

Your dumbass does realize she's been with ESPN on before that was a thing right

She’s been doing it for a long time without any real credentials
She was cute and white and espn liked hiring that back in the day
She would have no chance at that job now

They need SEC haters to attract viewers from other parts of the country.

She is as qualified and informed as any of their many non-former player/head coaches.
And, her takes are often just as bad as any of her contemporaries, actual college+ football experience or not

She was a really good player back in the day.

I think she has always just been in the CFP room with the members on the committee. You would think she would have learned something in the 6-7 years of this thing with all the interactions she has had.
I also think she's as wrong as anyone else

Basically Chris Low used to be the ESPN beat guy for the SEC then Edward Aschoff (RIP) took over that role. Dinich was the beat person for the ACC back then.
So it’s about the same or better than most media folks. I don’t know why anyone would care about their opinion on anything other than journalism techniques . It would be about equivalent to getting my opinion on judging art.

I just googled Heather, and this popped up…
How Oregon's win over Ohio State boosts Pac-12's College Football Playoff hopes
Thanks, Heather. How did everyone else miss this.

How in the world does this have 16 down votes?
I can only guess those 16 are young (she is in her 40’s) or they prefer to date aggie yell leaders.

About 10-15 years ago, many major media outlets thought the future was having message boards and blogs. ESPN created message boards for each conference and hired newer journalists to do posts to stir up conversation. Low had the SEC; Rittenberg had the Big 10. I think Andrea Adelson had the SEC; and I think Dinich had the PAc-10. After that experiment failed, they kept a few of them around to be beat reporters
