Hasz? He's the highest rated of them all.

He just tweeted about Singleton's commitment yesterday though.

Fifth 2024 in-state offer goes to Little Rock Christian QB Walker White.

Briles and Loggains watched him workout before the offer came from Pittman this evening.

All the pods have said Knox TE1, Henry is TE2 but someone else has been out playing him and might take his spot.

Is it like Gragg? Where he thought he was just going to come in and be as good as his brother without trying?

I've coached against the Singleton kid the last 4 years. He's gonna do some great things at Arkansas. He fits that KJ Jefferson mold.

Naples (Fla.) running back Isaiah Augustave has committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Augustave, 6-2, 200, went public with his decision during an official visit with the Hogs on Tuesday, becoming Arkansas' 12th pledge for the Class of 2023.

The Florida native chose Arkansas over Florida State, Louisville, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and several others. He is the Razorbacks' first running back commitment for the current cycle.

He was recruited to Fayetteville by running backs coach Jimmy Smith.

As a junior, Augustave rushed 109 times for 950 yards and 16 touchdowns for a Naples team that reached the Class 6A Region 4 semi-final. According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Augustave is the No. 42 running back in the nation and the No. 103 overall prospect in the state of Florida for the Class of 2023.

247Sports has him rated even higher, as the No. 30 running back in the nation and the No. 85 prospect in the Sunshine State.

Prior to Augustave's announcement, Arkansas’ 2023 class already included six offensive commitments in three-star quarterback Malachi Singleton of Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb, a trio of four-star tight ends in Shamar Easter of Ashdown (Ark.), Luke Hasz of Bixby (Okla.), and Jaden Hamm of Eudora (Kan.), four-star offensive lineman Luke Brown of Paris (Tenn.) Henry County, three-star offensive lineman Joey Su’a of Bentonville (Ark.).

The defensive class includes four-star defensive lineman Quincy Rhodes of North Little Rock (Ark.), three-star defensive end Kaleb James of Mansfield (Texas), four-star edge rusher Carson Dean of Carrollton (Texas) Hebron, three-star linebacker Everett Roussaw of Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove, and three-star cornerback Dallas Young of Gardendale (Ala.).

Arkansas’ 2023 class entered the day ranked No. 7 in the nation and No. 1 in the SEC with 178.37 total points in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings. Augustave’s commitment brings the Hogs’ total to 186.50 points, which doesn't move the national or SEC ranking.

Arkansas added commitment No. 12 to its 2023 class late Tuesday night with a surprise announcement from Naples (Fla.) running back Isaiah Augustave.

Augustave, rated as a 5.6-three-star by Rivals, chose Arkansas over 21 other FBS offers including the likes of Florida State, Kentucky, Minnesota, Oklahoma State and Tennessee.

After bringing in a haul of Rashod Dubinion and James Jointer in 2022 and landing a commitment from in-state Rivals250 prospect Braylen Russell for 2024, Smith has now slotted a back into the current cycle just over a month after extending an offer.

Augustave's commitment, which, save a cryptic GIF from running backs coach Jimmy Smith came relatively unexpectedly, effectively pushes Arkansas back ahead of SEC foe Tennessee and into the No. 7-spot nationally.

Both of Arkansas’ commitments in the Rivals250 dropped in the latest update to the 2023 rankings.

Tight ends Luke Hasz and Shamar Easter are now the No. 78 and No. 151 overall prospects in the country, respectively, according to Rivals.

Hasz, a Bixby, Okla., product who was once committed to Oklahoma and is continuing to take official visits elsewhere despite his pledge to the Razorbacks, fell seven spots to his current spot at No. 78, but that’d still make him the highest-ranked tight end to sign with Arkansas in the Rivals era.

The highest at this point is C.J. O’Grady, who was No. 90 overall coming out of Fayetteville in the 2015 class, followed closely by Pulaski Academy product Hunter Henry, who was No. 102 in the 2013 class.

Right behind those three players in terms of highest-ranked tight ends to sign with or commit to Arkansas is Easter, whose ranking has continued to drop. The Ashdown native fell another 39 spots from the most recent ranking and is way down from No. 84, where he was ranked at the time of his commitment.

It’s also worth noting that wide receiver Anthony Evans III, who backed off his pledge to the Razorbacks in April, made his Rivals250 debut at No. 167 in his update. He is now a 5.9 four-star after being a 5.6 three-star while committed to Arkansas.

quote:

WR Omarion Miller: No. 79 (up 1 spot)

LB Braylan Shelby: No. 83 (new)

LB Raul Aguirre: No. 89 (down 16)

OL Madden Sanker: No. 95 (up 2)

OL Miles McVay: No. 102 (down 46)

OL Charles Jagusah: No. 122 (down 6)

CB Avery Stuart: No. 196 (down 20)

ATH Micah Tease: No. 203 (up 11)

LB Karmelo Overton: No. 212 (down 16)

DT Markis Deal: No. 221 (down 18)
