We still beat the shite out of Arkansas if we played in football.

It is basically a commuter school with affordable tuition. I 'll bet that there is a significant portion of students there that not only live within an hour of campus but are also non traditional students. People who are going back to school or many who waited several years to go to school.

Not really when you consider that state has to abide by state laws and allow certain folks in.
I don’t think it matters why the difference exists; instead, is it a useful metric? Depends on what it represents. I know this has probably been studied, but would a student be better off at a school with more academically gifted students?

SEC Schools...
Alabama $1.419 Billion
Auburn $ 780 Million
Arky $1,209 Billion
LSU $955 Million (entire system)
Ole Miss $647 Million
Ms St. $520 Million
TA&M 13.6 Billion
Florida $1.8 Billion
UGA $1.362 Billion
Kentucky $1.32 Billion
Missouri #1.7 Billion (entire system)
South Carolina $783 Million
Tennessee $1.3 Billion
Vandy $6.9 Billion
Texas A&M and Vandy making everyone else look poor...
Vandy is private so that's kind of a different deal since they don't get state funding but they also have no restrictions on how they use their endowment.
Texas is the monster at over $31 Billion but they share it with some of their satellites like UTD, UT Arlington, UTEP, and UTSA which are all large schools, also MD Anderson in Houston, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and the new Med School in Austin get to draw on it. A&M has to share as well within their part of system but none of the schools are big outside of the CS campus (A&M Galveston, Tarleton State, Prairie View, A&M Health Science Center) so if you get down to dollars per student in the systems it is actually pretty close between A&M and Texas. Also, both schools have most of their endowments tied up in the PUF which has a lot of restrictions on how much can be spent and what it can be spent on (interest only and mostly on buildings and infrastructure).

No it’s not a commuter school. UCF has more on campus housing than UF but a better football team.

And despite its ungodly enrollment, UCF is also home to the most unattractive and unfrickable women in the country.

As a freshman how many classes were in a format where your peers aided your education?
Id say research, degrees(post and pre), and depth of professors matter more for educational standards

I know four UCF grads. Only one went to the school three others did online courses. None of them care about UCF.

Isn't the bulk of their student body comprised of online students and commuters though? Similar to a JuCo.

Right. Just like a section 8 housing project has more residents than the gated community in the suburbs

Y’all worry about endorsements, we’ll be gearing up for our 4th NY6 bowl the last 7 years this season. So flame away.
