It pains me to agree with a Texas fan about anything but Boomer Sooner is terrible. Worse even than Rocky Top, and also played more frequently, which by all laws of physics should literally break reality, and yet here we are living in a universe where it happens. Take that, science.

No, if Boomer Sooner gets old you are not ready for the SEC. Vandy is the only quite stadium. Those open design stadiums y’all play in are not the same as the deep bowls that actually hold noise. LSU night games are just different than the loudest most electric game you have ever seen. Even non football schools like Kentucky with its 60,000ish in the commonwealth will be louder than the 100,000 at a Texas game because of stadium design.

As I understand it there are only two words to this lyrical masterpiece. Perhaps that is so most of the Okies can learn the words to it??

There is one line "Sooner Born and Sooner Bred, When I die I'm Sooner dead." and then back to the endless droning.
Those two lines are another fine chapter in OU cheating. Not able to think for themselves, they simply stole UNC lyrics.
They then got confused as to what to do next so they just wrote Boomer Sooner fifty more times on the lyrics sheet before going back to digging ditches.
