The thing with my wife is symptomatic of the larger issue of a lack of consistency

The 25+ post rule was a rule since last year as well.

And to be honest, I never expected to have to put in rules for spouses.

There wasn’t any rule change this tournament other than the one about changing your vote. I changed that because EVERYONE complained that they couldn’t change their vote. No matter what the rule is people complain,

This is the problem. For alters, there are some that have 10 posts, some with 1,000. There’s no set way to define an alter. It’s kind of a know it when you see it type thing.

Which is why I think we should have something like a council next year. 5 or 7 people or so to vote on shite like that. Problem is people will vote for what benefits them.

And for the record, before last year’s tournament, I made a thread like this one asking for suggestions. Everyone laughed at it because they didn’t think this thing would actually be successful and have participants. It’s really hard to keep everyone happy when I’m the person running it.

We will have to agree to disagree about your wife. I hope you can at least see where I’m coming from on that.

And you know where I’m coming from. Good luck with your tournament. But this one is a go afterwards. There’s just been too many issues that have turned off people to that one
