To me, that should have signaled an end to the “little brother” talk. If all AU wanted was to beat Bama, then why would they ever get rid of the guy that has more success against Saban than anyone? With Gus, the emperor had no clothes. He was a one-trick pony.

Good question. Most of the time Auburn folks are grumpy. Yet when you beat big brother, the mood changes completely.

Interesting. Do you count Auburn's 1957season as a National Championship? You know, the 1957 season in which Auburn was on probation for paying players?
