Edgerrin Cooper is a good kid from Covington High. He wanted to play for LSU but it wasn't in the cards for him to get a committable offer. I hope he develops into a good player at A&M.

A little out of date, but how about John David Crow?

I have trouble buying it, but A&M recruiting guys are still saying we have a legit shot with Matthews. We’ll see. (One guy said his source even said he thinks A&M currently leads with Matthews.)

I mean I’d say the same if I could get a kid to drop a seemingly rock solid commitment to his in-state school, convince him not to go to said in state school’s recruiting party, and come to their own school’s BBQ bash

LSU has to make up some ground

There is no room for facts here sir, we've NEVER IN OUR EXISTENCE harbored any lousianimals on our football team that have gone on to "Greatness." So clearly this will never happen.

Can't wait to see Jacoby in maroon & white, playing in front of 105,000 Aggie Fans at Kyle Field. Will be a beautiful thing. Jacoby, Bryce in the back. One of the best Defensive Lines in America up front. Shut down corners. Coach Elko getting that LB talent. Depth Depth Depth across the board. Wrecking Crew baby.

What makes you think that? Sauces or just the voices in your head?

sauces and his actions on twitter and then some of the stuff he has told people around him that has gotten out.

like i said...very well could be wrong. Jimbo is a damn good recruiter, one of the best ever and in the NIL wild west...no telling.

Agree, forget what you know about recruiting. It's the wild west now. You see that the Ohio State recruit just got a new truck from Mark Wahlberg? Some guys will be going to the highest bidder, no telling if this is such a case or not.

Gonna be interesting to see how many players taking paydays...get caught up in it and end up ruining what could have been NFL paydays. I can see quite a few of these kids losing focus.

College foots certainly is changing quickly and those schools that can't innovate fast enough will get lost.

Yep a handful of insiders have said he has gone around telling people he wasnt feeling the vibe of all the negative recruiting they were doing on his visit. Also found out he is already back to recruiting guys to LSU as well. I would expect him to recommit back down the road, but he will take his visits now that he can get the attention. We seem to recently always have a big time in-state kid commit early, decommit, then recommit back later on - Stingley, Roy, Mathews probably falls in that group ultimately.
