If we are talking about hats then I wear them a lot. I have 4 UGA polos that get most of their wear during football season. I do wear them occasionally in the offseason but not every week.

I have a polo and pullover for each color we wear when we play. The polos only see the light of day on game days, but I'm guilty of wearing the pullovers out and about more often than not. Aside from that, I have a ton of free basketball shirts I got as a student I only wear around the house. I wonder if I'll ever cut down on the t shirts
Edit: I also have an Ole Miss beater hat I like to wear when I'm not rocking any other college apparel

Agreed. You look like a tool when you wear school apparel outside of gameday.

Checked every response before posting and one group is noticeably absent. That's because - and this is no joke - it's something they do consistently. Golf shirts, long sleeves, short sleeves you name it.
Yes, I'm talking about you, Aggy. Not that you couldn't tell by the description.

Yes, the "sidewalk" fans wear Bama apparel all the time. Not saying that is a bad thing because they pump a lot of money into the University one way or the other. I would argue though that actual graduates of Alabama have very few shirts/apparel. I'm a graduate and have maybe two shirts that I wear to the games and almost everyone i know that graduated from there are in the same boat. I would say that Auburn and Clemson graduates spend more money on their school apparel/merchandise than any other school alumni. It's amazing the amount of AU grads I know that will wear two different polo's per week with their school logo and will have five different logos on their vehicles.
I prefer the term "crib fan" over sidewalk fan, since I was born into being an Alabama fan.
I own 0 Alabama shirts. In general I don't wear clothes with any logos on them, unless they are very small. AKA a polo type logo. I'm not a billboard is how I feel about it.
But nothing is more weird to me than grown men worrying about what other grown men wear.

Ask the hoards of LSU fans in orange beach and gulf shores. Hell they can’t even lay on the beach without gigantic yellow LSU flags flying.

After the past year, they'll be flying them at half mast.

Who are you stalking that you know they wear them 4 days a week.

this is an attempt to look down on other people so the op can try and validate that he is of a higher social standing the same goes with the term sidewalk fans if you didnt attend the school then you arent a fan on the same level as one who attended but in the end a fan is a fan wether or not they meet some sudo intellectual protocol by a egotistical elitist now i will wait for the grammer and puncuation police to tell me how stupid i am compared them LOL

Are you still a loser if you’re a cartoonist with $600 million and you wear your school’s apparel?
Edit: Resident Mizzou fans should have ire for the South Park boys because CU won a championship while they were there, in part, because they got a 5th down in the game against Mizzou in 1990.

Why?
Because my team plays 4 games during the week.

love seeing Bammers wear their stuff...always funny to me for some reason...the way they beam, the pride, the way it defines their self worth...just funny.
Be honest, you have to find self worth in something other than a terrible football team with a terrible history. It’s not like you get to choose.

Isn’t Prairieville close to Donaldsonville?

I'm sorry you are so sensitive that any slight about your school no matter how minute gets you triggered.
Lmao triggered...why do people use this so often? Simply pointing out the fact you use Bama as an example when it could be applied to any sports team or university that has a measure of success. I guarantee if Georgia wins one in our lifetime UGA sidewalkers and t-shirts fans will exponentially procreate.

I know this plays into the narrative that there is little support for Mizzou from Missourians, but I'm going to post it anyway.
We've got people walking around in Mizzou gear who appear to have no understanding of why. Too many times in STL I'll see someone with a Mizzou t-shirt or sweatshirt or hat out in public and if it is a game day I might give them an M-I-Z... as I pass. Instead of the expected Z-O-U reply, I get a quizzical look.
Last Saturday before the OU game I saw a woman and her husband at the grocery store. The woman was wearing a Mizzou t-shirt. Being a game day as I passed them I simply said "Go Tigers". It took them by surprise and the husband turned to the wife with a look on his face as if he was asking her "what did he call you?" She apparently did hear me correctly because he just nodded his head after she answered. I walked away thinking they have absolutely no idea that Mizzou is playing in a basketball game tonight.
For those of you who haven't forgotten that Mizzou is in the SEC, you're welcome in advance for the softball.

As I was reading this, half-way through, I forgot that Mizzou was in the SEC.
