I wear one Alabama hat around, when I need to wear a hat. It is the one that has DONE written on it, and was given to me by my mother.

I mostly see this from bama fans, and typically the sidewalk loser subset among them
Yes, the "sidewalk" fans wear Bama apparel all the time. Not saying that is a bad thing because they pump a lot of money into the University one way or the other. I would argue though that actual graduates of Alabama have very few shirts/apparel. I'm a graduate and have maybe two shirts that I wear to the games and almost everyone i know that graduated from there are in the same boat. I would say that Auburn and Clemson graduates spend more money on their school apparel/merchandise than any other school alumni. It's amazing the amount of AU grads I know that will wear two different polo's per week with their school logo and will have five different logos on their vehicles.

The biggest sidewalk fanbases are UGA and Bama with an edge given to the Tide. I'm looking forward to seeing the UGA fans bark all over Charlotte week 1. What a bunch of dip shits .

I usually wear a hat when outside of work and it's always a sports hat...because I like to.
I wear whatever shirt is there when I ipen the drawer when I put one on though. I really do not care a shirt is a shirt.

Did you go to Clemson or Auburn?

I don't see very many adult, college educated people who do this, regardless of school affiliation. Wearing college team gear every day is something college students and/or those in lower tax brackets do. Most people know it looks pretty tacky to dress like you're going to a game every day. I very rarely wear any team gear outside of games. The hats I wear are typically from golf courses I have played. I may throw on an LSU polo every once in awhile but not often, and I'll wear t-shirts around the house or to do yard work outside.

No I went to Alabama. I work with many AU grads and there are quite a few Clemson grads in Huntsville. Just going off observation

Well the work week has 5 days and you gotta wear your best on Sunday and the game is on Saturday
So...does that answer your question?

I mean I have tons of Alabama stuff - I just see something new I like and add it to the pile to go along with stuff dating back to Nike shirts from 1995
I don't wear it every day or anything but I wear Alabama polos to work on Mondays after a weekend or something, an Alabama baseball hat to kids softball games, etc.

4? Don’t need four when I only shower twice a week. Merica!

I answered the question that was asked based on my own experiences. I know 2 people irl that fit the description in the op and both are bama fans, neither from alabama, and neither graduated.

Yes success does lead to more bandwagoners. People over teen are wearing their school gear after 5+ times a week is not common though. I'm sorry you are so sensitive that any slight about your school no matter how minute gets you triggered.

Haha. I always take a polo on work trips for when we go out to dinner. Stopped in NOLA on the way home from Houston and ended up on Bourbon the day before UGA played @ LSU, in the one polo I’d packed, my Arkansas one. Everybody was so confused it was hilarious

I'm not saying that is a bad thing. I'm thinking more along the lines of folks that decorate their office/cubicle from ceiling to floor in their team gear. I think that is odd. But that's just me.

That's generally the guy who won't stop talking about football or Alabama nonstop too, and probably doesn't care about any other Alabama teams or any other team (professional) in general.
In summary, annoying as shite.

I can't speak for everyone, but I do it for the 2007 women's bowling national champions.

Part of my personality I guess? I love sports. Sometimes I wear some Cleveland Indians gear. Some days it’s San Antonio Spurs merch. Some days it’s LSU.
I don’t have any plain tees, and I like snagging a dri fit with my team’s logo on it. Why would that bother someone?

When you throw that swag on you know that there is absolutely nothing that can top it.
