This crap came up again today in my Google news feed. I don't really care that they made a big deal about a girl kicking. Sure, it's a publicity stunt and not really about talent, but whatever. The thing that bothers me the most is this nonsense that she "filled in to a team with a depth chart devastated by Covid and opt outs". Like if Vandy hadn't gotten the girls soccer goalie to say yes, they just wouldn't have been able to barely clear the linemen on a couple PATs or shank a kickoff. That's where I draw the line in humoring this nonsense.

Bull hockey... you probably couldn’t hit an extra point and unless the “guys” you are referring to are active soccer players, very few could make an extra point. You think kicking a ball 30 yds (distance necessary to make an extra point with a 20 ft. bar clearance) is something a couch potato can do? Well... you are wrong.
Who would think it? An LSU fan trashing a 6’2” female athlete... I guess she was lucky she wasn’t raped..

I would take that bet. She is a D1 college athlete, SEC Champ.
I'm guessing she is more fit and capable than the majority of the board even in their prime.
I've never seen a more butt hurt bunch of people over a Vandy PK. There have been untold kickers and others who were outright stealing schollie dollars. It brought attention to a school in a winless year. Promotional or not, it had an effect.
