On a scale of 1-10?

Obviously not a flame since LSU has decided to stop playing defense entirely.

I'll be nice and say he did a great job in the second half yesterday.

He's taken 5*s and taught them to forget how to tackle and consistently be out of position.

He fricking sucks. With the exception of the DL this is the worst fundamentally sound defense Saban has put on the field.

The thing is he has some good games occasionally, but whenever we play an offense with a pulse, the defense just folds. I'd say he gets a 3, but really anything under 7.5 is unacceptable at bama.

Anything above a zero is too high.

Alabama fans are stupid and actually believe they know better than Saban. They claimed all last year he was going to get fired. He got a raise instead.

2, maybe a 3.

Did a decent job adjusting, but that's a very small sample size. He didn't adjust worth a crap against Ole Miss, so...

More evidence that getting a raise doesn't make you any smarter, just wealthier.

These past 2 years have not been short on talent (even when the injury bug hit). But, they have looked like the least prepared and disciplined Bama D since 2007. The talent is there, but the coaching, scheme and adjustments are not.

Golding is horrible. Alabama defense has traditionally been one of the best in the nation, even as recent as 3 years ago. Since Tosh and Golding arrived it's been a damn joke. Charlie Strong is waiting in the wings.

Which means what? That you get to the playoffs and get shite on by a team that does?

He has an all-star roster and is terrible with them. We lucked out last night when Georgia abandoned the run and put the game in Bennett's hands. The game would have been closer if they hadn't done that.

1. What I want to know which is what we will never know is was last night his halftime adjustments or did someone else take over? He coaches LB and unless 40 other D1 programs including most of the sec misevaluated talent, why are out OB still lost and hesitant. Then when they finally are aggressive they shoot wrong gap or just run right into the middle of the scrum while the RB runs through the adjacent gap and were chasing from behind.
