All you assholes responding with catfish... THAT'S FRESHWATER, same with crawdads.

What other states, other than Florida, have lobster, and stone crab? Now add all the varieties of fish that Florida is absolutely loaded with and the answer is clear.

Went fishing in Tampa Bay today. Not more than 1/2 mile from the house, caught legal red grouper and mangrove snapper.

Y'all suck. Go eat your nasty arse catfish, and let the pros in FL handle the reel business.

I doubt Louisiana cuisine goes very far without it.

the food my Louisiana friends cook for me is better than any food I ever get outside the state. The best LA food you’ll ever have is cooked in someone’s cast iron pot on their porch.

it's seafood either way. A fish is a fish and a crustacean a crustacean.

Hard to beat good farm raised catfish, hushpuppies, a slice of white onion and a side of greens.

For all of the other "seafood," LA's unique and delicious cuisine wins everyday. Nothing special about FL other than its access to the fish itself.

That is a general rule of thumb no matter the state.

It’s Texas. Houston is the food capital. Sorry. We do it better.

lived in South Carolina in the late 1990s, I will never forget going to a "Cajun Restaurant" and ordering gumbo, I swear they must have served Campbell's chicken gumbo soup out of a can!

Why would you go to a Cajun restaurant in SC?

You brought that on yourself.

"SC seafood sucks! I went to a place in SC that doesn’t make SC seafood and it was terrible!"

Lol gtfo.
Went to Houston once and every restaurant I tried was mediocre. If it weren’t for smoked brisket,Texas would have one of the worst food scenes in the country. All of your beer sucks arse too.

Been to well over half the states in the US and my trips to Texas have by far been the most disappointing food-wise with the exception of brisket.

In the SEC, it’s easily the weakest culinary-wise.

I’ve had some great seafood in South Carolina but it was at the lost Cajun seafood restaurant. The guy was from Lafitte Louisiana. So Louisiana is number 1 SC 2

Again...why are yall eating at cajun restaurants in places that don't specialize in cajun food?

"The cajun food in SC sucks! Even though Cajun is from Louisiana, SC food must suck! Rawr!"

How about eat actual SC food.

Exactly. It’s like I don’t go to SC to watch college football, I go for the women’s basketball
