I still remember fans at wms throwing trash on the field after Texas beat us on a last second pass in 1987.
Hatfield caught a ton of undeserved grief from fans and of course Broyles wanted to act as a coach by proxy.

I read Nolan Richardson's book. It went into details a bout how Hatfield walked out of Frank's office and was complaining a bout plays for the next game. Nolan took the plays from Hatfield. Nolan looked it over, crumbled the paper and threw it in the trash can. Nolan said, that is what I thought a bout Frank Broyles.
