SEC Stadium Visitor Seating
For anyone planning on going to any road games this upcoming year, I made a master list for where each SEC team designates as their visitor sections. All the information came from the school's official seating guides. Many ticket marketplaces like Ratemyseat.com have wrong or dated information for their visitor seating filter. If there is any information that needs to be updated, please give me a source and I'll change it on the list. Some school's information is harder to find than others since some don't directly show their visitor seating on their seating charts or have had recent renovations.

RECENT CHANGES FOR 2023: SEC required allotment has shrunk down to only 750 seats in the lower bowl. Auburn has dedicated section 37 as 'Young Alumni' seating. Kentucky has removed section 14 from the visitor allotment. Mississippi State has re-labeled all upper-deck sections and has switched the upper-deck visitor seating to the same side as the lower bowl seating. Mizzou has removed the lower bowl visitor family seating area at mid-field and allocated additional seating in the upper-deck. Tennessee has removed much of its former visitor seating in the upper-decks, only sections GG & HH remain. As of 2021, visiting students can now expect a generic SEC branded ticket stub for away games as opposed to the individually supplied ticket stubs from the hosting institution. Example of an Auburn student ticket for 2021 Auburn vs. South Carolina game in Columbia, SC.

Uhh, what? Visitors are typically guaranteed like 7-10k, unless that's changed in the last few months

Visitors primarily in nosebleed sections at the top of the upper deck

600 section at Sanford is a joke. I mean, at least you’re in there but I would bet most would rather just tailgate if that was there only option.

Strange that we sell tickets to visiting fans. Notre Dame usually just gives them away

That's where every other school besides vandy puts visitors too so I don't feel bad about it

A bit disingenuous to say that. I guess it’s true but not many visitors sections are as far away and high as the 600 in Sanford.

Thanks for tabulating all that. However, much of the information posted is actually a little 'dated'...i.e. LSU's lower bowl visitor section does NOT include all of 401 and some of the other stadium charts have not been factually updated in a long time.

LSU isn’t far off, I imagine A&M isn’t either.
I sat in the 600 level off some scalped tickets for a Mizzou game a while back. They had a big cargo plane do a flyover that day and that’s about as uncomfortable as I’ve ever been in a stadium; could feel the concrete underneath me tremble.

You'd be surprised. Sanford has a pretty gradual slope compared to some other schools. LSU and Auburn's upper decks almost feel like a completely vertical incline

Snap, you're right. I interpreted it as 2,000 total, with 1,000 together in the lower level. That would make more sense since the capacity of some of these sections together are more than 8,000. I took it off the main post.

Fixed it. LSU's and A&M's were the hardest to find an exact location.

What a damn good post.

Agreed.
If you don’t get the great endzone block, you’re basically watching from the upper atmosphere. The breeze is at least nice up there.

We give visitors the lower level corner, and I have season tickets in the next section over. Had some LSU fans bleed over into our seats in 2018 and boy were they obnoxious... especially for a Joe Burrow team that only beat 2-10 Arkansas by 7.

LSU only gives SEC visitors 6,000 tickets. It used to be 8,500 then 7,000 and now is 6,000.

And I imagine that will continue to be the trend, people don't travel in the numbers they used to.
When talking about upcoming renovations to The Swamp and the lost capacity switching to chairbacks, Stricklin thinks he can minimize the impact on Gator fans through a reduction in the visitor allotment.

So it moved? When I was there 3-4 years ago the section was close to the field
