Our team is better next year with Sark, glad he's staying.

Bama fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
After interviewing for the Colorado head coaching position on Wednesday, Steve Sarkisian is expected to remain at Alabama as offensive coordinator, BamaOnLine has learned. Chris Low of ESPN was first to report the news and added Sarkisian is expected to receive a hefty raise that will make him one of college football’s highest-paid assistant coaches. . .

Colorado just got outbid again. This time by an OC position. That has to leave a scar.

Honestly, Colorado's position in the football world is Colorado's fault. They financially abandoned the football program for two decades, and now are left with the ramifications of that. They are having to dig out of a hole of their own design.

Unless the two CU guys doing the search and hiring are very naive, they knew (1) Saban could and likely would keep Sark and (2) even if Sark did take the CU job, it would only be a short-lived stepping stone job for him. If they realistically wanted to hire someone from Bama as their HC, they should've targeted Butch Jones.

It should also be said that the Pac-12 is an absolute dumpster fire. And when you're a mediocre football school in a bad football state in a bad football conference, the head job just isn't that good.
Remember, those PAC 12 schools pocket only a little more than half what an SEC or Big Ten school pockets from their respective TV deals. And because of this, every single Pac-12 job has declined in attractiveness.

5 years and 18 mil? That's HC-in-waiting money.

If true, do we just need to let him go now?

I would laugh if they ask to bring in Charlie Strong. Saban would probably pay him more as an analyst than they could offer.

When Butch put the orange on he was destined for a lifetime of Crimson mockery. Probably calling us the Red team didn't help. And he never won a game against us.
Which brings me to Mr. Pruitt. It's hard to imagine that guy could ever get that jailbreak, retina-burning orange program up and running like the days of yesteryear and not totally alienate Bama fans and boosters alike. Imagine this dude actually wins a few of these games? With the unfortunate redneck way he likes to put things, he's going to totally tick off man and beast in the state of Alabama.
Frankly, the ease that he now compliments the great pumpkin is proof enough for me that he's long since gone to the Darkside.

Yep. That’s a strong a** offer.
I’m going to have to say I feel quite comfortable now. Nick just locked Ole Sark down.

Does kinda feel like Sark digs Tuscaloosa.
