Yeah I remember him leading an offense with Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper and Zeke Elliott to one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Yesh, scrapping the bottom of the barrel here

Can't wait for the same people that said a low level assistant could never improve LSU's offense to chime in about how bad this hire is. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconrotflmao.gif)

Yeah, I guess he can lead LSU down the same road as a PGC. He is not the OC, idiot! Some of you people need to pick up another hobby.

Dallas finished the 2018 regular season ranked 22nd in both total offense (343.8 YPG) and scoring offense (21.2 PPG).
Linehan has 13 years of coordinator experience at the NFL level. Along with the Cowboys, he also served in that capacity with the Minnesota Vikings (2002-04), Miami Dolphins (2005) and Detroit Lions (2009-13). He was head coach of the St. Louis Rams from 2006 through 2008.
In those 16 seasons, his offenses ranked inside the top 10 in yardage eight times and the top 10 of scoring on six occasions, per Football Reference.

I mean I'm sure he's learned a lot since then, but any St. Louis Rams fan (there were at least 12 of us) cringes at that name.

So if I'm seeing this right:
- Scott Linehan was Coach Sabah's OC in Miami (2006) - they went 9-7.
- Scott Linehan leaves for St. Louis job (he goes 8-8).
- The Miami Dolphins (without Linehan) go 6-10 and Sabah quits.
Wow. Grand slam hire.
