There is no data to back up this opinion dude. Clearly football is not merely assembling 5 star talent or Alabama would win all their games.
Alabama's defensive performance vs LSU was practically the same as Texas' was. Feel free to look it up.

Alabama
I think most people use this name because it has been the standard, that’s not the case this year.

Why are we also not laughing at Clemson here?
Because the entire thread is a circle jerk. We laughed at Clemson last year. 44-16 happened
I remember when everyone laughed at Utah facing Bama that time. LOL
I remember when we all laughed at UGA playing Boise in Atlanta. LOL
UCF had no chance against Auburn who had just beat 2 , #1 SEC teams. LOL
I get it. I understand the thought but since we didnt take care of shite, its more funny on us for saying that these team have no chance against the big bad SEC.

“But we played Duke out of conference. They’re a historical power who is always good. Wait, this wasn’t basketball?”

Alabama, 68-75

Clemson not looking too stellar, either, but at least they’re undefeated...
No team Clemson played is ranked now. Sad.

So when Baylor beats UGA in the Sugar Bowl are you going to admit you are wrong? Remember Texas?

If you take Auburn and LSU off Bamas schedule their opponents are 47-72.

I don’t think UGAs offense is any good so that wouldn’t surprise me.

Not that Alabama's SoS was great this year, it wasn't. But win% based SoS metrics are about as bad as it gets.
Most SoS metrics are bad when you’re comparing top 5-10 teams. They place way too much emphasis on the bottom third of the schedule, and not nearly enough emphasis on the top third.
