So do we go after a QB to challenge Fromm?
Looking to take two right now. Don't think they'd pursue any in the portal.

That makes more sense. I saw the return flight from California and assumed he was on it.

A staff member or two may or may not be on that jet, just not the boss

Which raises the interesting question of why we haven't been willing to pay the big bucks for marquee coordinators. Despite the prosperous state of the program financially, UGA has always tended to go homer, hire from within, and hire on the cheap.

That's not true one bit. Pittman was the highest paid OL coach in the country and got raises every year to stay that way and we also made Charlton Warren the highest paid defensive assistant when we brought him in from Florida. We continue to bump Dell's salary up for multiple reasons, main one being to keep Auburn's grimy paws off of him. You're thinking of Richt, not Kirby.

We pay big money for assistant coaches that we feel are excellent recruiters.
We don’t go out and get marquee coordinators. Kirby believes that recruiting is far more important that actual coaching and scheming. I agree with that for most position coaches, but coordinators are an exception, as our beyond miserable offense this year, lead by a great recruiter, proves.

Interesting that it doesn't appear that Coley is out West visiting Milton and Washington. Kirby, Dell, and Hartley are

Have you ever sat in a coaches room when they gameplan an opponent?

Coley is more a FL recruiter though right?
Also, seems to make sense to send your RB coach and HC makes sense when he’s one of the top of your class. Idk about Hartley. Would allow them to divide and conquer.
Or we can go with a more fun narrative and say Coley is in Butts Mehre’s basement tied up until Kirby gets his OC.

Keep your reasonable posts out of here bro.

Yeah, there's something about that guy that makes me feel uneasy.

Tank Bigsby has officially shut his recruitment down, per twitter. Will sign with Auburn.
Really hope that doesn’t bite us in the arse down the line...

I think both UGA and Tank will regret this before it's all said and done.
