they've been doing commercials in Birmingham for about a year. They come across as sleazy ambulance chasers that will take any case, any complaint. One of the sons who does some commercials,Matt, seems like a complete horse's behind.
Just curious.

How is the job search going? I’m sure you’ll find something soon.

Could be why he's asking about ambulance chasers, in lieu of a job

Huh? By no means to have the greatest job in the world, but I have one. Asking about some ambulance chasers = being unemployed?

Must be a huge law firm, advertising all over the country as best I can tell. Their local lawyer lives down the street from me. Not sure if they have more than one in the local office.

You hit the nail on the head! They are some of the worst of the worst. I believe they got their model from Fred Levin, the Pensacola lawyer who, along with a crooked state political leader, got the tobacco law passed in FL. and started the national wave of individual and class action law suits against the tobacco industry nationally...having a monetary interest in most of the huge ones.. Fred's wealthy as 6 feet up a bull's arse, much coming from the tobacco industry. The Morgan & Morgan bunch's ad tactics are a mirror image of the Levin firm.
Imo, these are the type of folks that you don't want to have anything to do with if you can help it.

Pretty sure younger brother went to law school with this baw. You're batting 2/2

Superal liberal, did donate millions out of his pocket for medical marijuana here in florida. 100% sure he has a deal with 1 of the 7 state approved cartels

Basically if you have a flimsy case you want to intimidate someone into settling, these may be the right vultures. Not my go to for civil trial.

Now that's my kind of lawyer.

Don’t choose a lawyer based on an ad, choose one based on facts and a proven track record.
I want to puke each time I hear an ad on the radio from them.

They’ve established a surprisingly visible presence in Jackson.
One of their managing partners is a distinguished trial lawyer. I can’t speak for the other attorneys on staff.
With that said, it’s a large, multi-state plaintiff’s firm. They’ll take your car wreck case and aggressively pursue settlement. They’ll also probably refer you to plaintiff friendly physicians and chiropractors.
The best Plaintiff’s cases, from an attorney’s perspective, settle before trial. I imagine a bulk of their cases are pre-suit, and this floats their business, as it does with other large plaintiff’s firms. The south has a lot of poor folks with minimum liability limits driving around. It’s not hard to push medical bills up to $25k in Mississippi and it’s even easier to push them up to $15k in Louisiana.
Source: I have cases against them.

They've been all over Atlanta media for at least the last 10 years. The old Man is a big time Bull Gator so I'm assuming he went to law school or undergrad at UF.

I think that's the family with a female named "Ultima", so there's a better than average chance that they're Transformers.

They’re big in TN as well. I am not an attorney but work in a field where I am fairly exposed to them and their tactics. I believe these people can do some good for those who are not being treated fairly when injured. But 99% of the time your description is spot on.

The patriarch John Morgan is a UF law school grad., that according to my local attorney who attended law school with him had difficulty passing the bar several times. I'll give him this, he's one hell of a business man and they spend 10-15 million a year on advertising. As far as settling most cases, they have a clause in all their associate attorney's contracts that states they have to try at minimum one case per year or reimburse the firm for 20K.

Hey TA, good to see you again. I hope the legal practice is going well for you down in the Magnolia State.
As for Morgan and Morgan I'm fairly certain they are in Memphis too. I think I've seen their commercials playing up here, though I avoid Network TV in favor of binge watching on Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Whether they are or not, there is no shortage of shady shysters in the Memphis area.
