Motherfricker better recuse himself whenever UGA is being discussed.

Are rivals required to recuse on the committee?

Nothing to worry about. If we take care of business on our side, it shouldn't matter who is on the committee.

and the Big 10 refs were nothing to worry about as well. frick me but it seems more shite is stacked against our dawgs than most any other team.

Not really comparative, but for sake of argument... if we took care of business, the refs wouldn't have been able to do squat. We got too conservative on offense in the 4th Q, didn't execute very well on plays during that time, and our defense got burned by their QB and receivers in the 2nd half.

If we took care of business, we would have won. Likewise, if we take care of business, we shouldn't worry about being screwed over by the committee.

we played a tough opponent that was going to fight. And they made adjustments and took the fight to us. The refs kept them in it until that time. They jobbed us like it was their job.

Back to the original argument. If we are ever in Bama's situation this year, do you think they'd pick UGA?

As long as we are 11-1 and win the SEC Championship there's no way we will be kept out. Only two conferences have made every CFP (SEC & ACC). A one loss SEC Champion is as good as gold.

10-2 and conference champs though has a precedent of being left out so we'll be clinching our assholes tight on that selection day.

If UGA had an athletic director he or she might get on that committee.

If we are a one loss team left out of SECCG? No we don’t get to go. We aren’t bama. We don’t get to skip a game.

True, but it's also fair. If you are Bama and you've won 49 of the last 50 NC's, you are going to get the benefit of the doubt and I believe they've earned it.

But as others have said, there's no excuse for us to lose any games next year. Some might be hard fought struggles, but we out-talent everyone on our schedule, significantly.

This is the level we expect for our program now, or Richt would still be our coach.

If we meet Bama in the SECCG, that's another 50/50 toss up, and the de facto national champiopship game.

Our schedule is obviously extremely light OOC next year.We should roll through the SECe but see us splitting AU/LSU...gotta win in Atlanta to get in.

I want that rematch really bad in the 2018 seccg. We have yet to beat them since the black out game where they kicked our arse. No doubt we will get it. Auburn and LSU ain’t gonna be shite this year.

Not worried about Auburn at all.

LSU and USC are the concerns for me.

Both away games in very hostile environments that make Jordan-Hare look like a little girl's tea party.

And Florida, if their new QB is good, also somewhat concerns me just because I'm of the age group where Florida always scares me.

Call me crazy but LSU doesn't scare me in the slightest bit. They weren't very good last year and lose a lot of their best players, and replace their OC with a dud. Not to mention that tiger stadium at 3:30 is no more hostile than any other big time SEC school, and I imagine this game is a lock for the CBS slot.

SC in week 2 is worrisome, playing early in the season will be a problem since we are breaking in so many new faces on defense and they will be jacked up. If we get past SC I don't see us being challeneged again until Auburn.
