Actually, I would argue our first string front 7 is as good if not better. You simply do not have a Simmons on the DL, meanwhile we have a few LB's who were the best at their position coming out of high school.

We dont have a Simmons type player on Dline?? Well, ok then.

I'd be worried if our Oline transitioned into females, but they didn't.

MSU is 2 deep on the front 7 without drop off. Leo Lewis isn't even starting. That's the amount of talent I have seen on the field for MSU.

Lawrence is every bit the man as simmons.

As for the LBs, Key is a returning All American (expected back for Saturday). Phillips was the #1 inside LB in the country and Chaisson was the #1 rush LB/DE. D White is a load at MLB.

In fact no body in the country has recruited better than LSU on the defensive side of the ball these last two years. Not bama, not auburn, not flordia, not ohio state, not Michigan or any one else.
