Are you truly so ignorant that you don't know this has been circulating for years? Half the damn state population has known for several years and the rumors haven't been just 2 girls on social media. However. most people like me wrote it off/ignored it until the proof came out that he was in fact a sleaze bag. It's really no wonder they never spoke up. A fricking evangelical private school was never going to believe them over the Right Reverend Freeze and hell most of us nuetrals shrugged our shoulders and said 'who knows, it's HS.'

Do you know much about Briarcrest?
Ask yourself this one question, "where are the Briarcrest people that are rushing to HF's defense?"

Calling escorts for one. His firing for two - you have any idea what it takes to get fired under a moral turpitude clause these days? (Hint: More than banging an escort). It's damn near unheard of and a case OM would likely lose in terms of the 'fired for cause/no buyout' issue if it weren't fricking awful.

You do realize that the closest thing to fact that you can get in a situation like this where it has been at least 10 years since anything might have happened is the testimony of the individuals involved, right? And that Freeze will probably deny it and multiple girls will say yes it did and if it it goes any further, it'll be in a class action suit wherein it's all about convincing a jury or judge in the absence of physical evidence that one side is right and the other is wrong.
In other words, there is no fact beyond which side has the power and ability to convince the general public.

briarcrest freeze as a twitter search is intriguing, but the poster is right - not one tweet from someone defending him.

What kind of proof do you want?
The kind of proof that would make a man resign from a 5 million dollar a year job?

Don't run from the conversation, we're talking "clouds over many years" and the briarcrest accusations.
Nice try to spin it though..
Proof of briarcrest accusations? If there's no proof then the logical person would have to assume that this "escort" deal at Ole Miss was freezes first morally wrong thing he did, correct?

In your example, a victim telling an officer what happened to them, under oath or not, is not hearsay. They are giving testimony of their own direct knowledge.
100% false. A victim's account to an officer is the exact definition of hearsay. It's any statement given outside of court. Typically, "hearsay evidence" (victim statement to officer) isn't even admissible in court without the victim being present.
ETA: It is admissible in a grand jury setting in order to indict, but not in a trial setting.
The guy I mentioned earlier in this thread is how I know that to be true. Girl gave a statement to police, they indicted him & arrested him, she refused to go to court, and he walked because her statement was considered "hearsay" and inadmissible.

What spin? You totally ignored what I said and called me the spinner and it's doubtful you'll address what I said. Are you Bjork/Freeze?

You thought the Duke lacrosse players were guilty too, huh?

But you've already concluded the Briarcrest allegations are BS. Your thread title says so.
An Ole Miss fan in the other thread said none if this stuff is made up. Others are saying the rumors are nothing new. We don't know what's true at this point, but there seems to be more to this story than just a bunch of women on Facebook piling on Freeze while he's down.

You don't think religion contributed greatly to the advancement of education, historical record keeping, cuisine, art, etc.? Seriously?
Well, let's take Christianity for an example here.
Advance education: Teaching things that are incorrect about the history of earth and where life came from is not "advancing education".
Historical Record Keeping; Hiatorical records were kept long before religious doctrines were written down. Add that to the fact that religious historical records are generally complete fabrications, I'd say we could do just fine without it.
Cuisine: Really? Really? I mean, aside fro Kosher, what else is there?
Art: while religion has been the subject of much art, art still exists without religion. After all, Neanderthals were making art on the walls of caves and they had no real religious beliefs.
Then we have to take into account the Dark Ages. A time when the church was all powerful and advancements in technology and civilization slowed to a crawl.
This is the fundamental problem with religion. Religion is unchangable once its doctrines are set. Science doesn't have that problem. Science can adapt to new infornation and say "we were wrong". Religion can never admit it was wrong.
