We sign several guys every year that are potential top-notch return guys. Yet, we never seem to have a kickoff returner that can hardly ever get it past the 25. Our kickoff returners seem to have a homing device that lead them right to the first defender that comes around them.

Now this is interesting.

We got a CB for Andres Fox from one of the LSU mods.

How often do true freshmen play at Bama? Not early enrollees, but true graduate in May guys.

Interesting indeed when considering the class predictions from earlier today.

I believe Alabama has played 16 true freshmen from the 2017 class. Most of those enrolled early, but a few were May arrivals.

Based on his stats from the games that have been posted, Fox seems to be blowing up. He has put up some monster stats in recent games.

WOW, if Bama cant land Campbell with immediate playing time available next year, that is a huge red flag going forward.

Don't mind him. He's become our resident worry wart in a little over a month.

He means well.

Nah it was an honest question. I would think being an early enrollee would be a massive advantage. I hope it is at least. Kids are giving up a lot to do that. Prom, senior baseball/basketball/track seasons. I would hope the juice is worth the squeeze so to speak.

Yea, he he is dominating those 5-9 180 OT's at schools like Cottage Hill Christian.

Andres will have to be judged by summer camp, their competition is laughable.

Should have gone to McGill-Toolen or St Paul's.

I think Julio may have started after not enrolling early but that was a damn decade ago.

I wonder what exactly Kirby is selling them on?

Not Alabama related, but Rutgers flipped a 4-star QB from Miami today.

Isaac Taylor-Stuart has wanted to visit Texas A&M for a long time.

His weekend in College Station did not disappoint.

The five-star cornerback from San Diego (Calif.) Helix had an excellent time during his visit to Texas A&M this past weekend and, maybe most importantly, received an incredibly enticing message from the Aggies’ coaching staff.

“The coaches want me to play for them,” Taylor-Stuart said.

“They don’t want me to stand on the sideline and (they want me to) make an immediate impact on the team.”

That could be an interesting selling point for Taylor-Stuart, who has excelled at wide receiver this season and has proven to be one of the top cornerbacks in the country.

Playing both ways - or having an opportunity to impact the game on both sides of the ball - is something he has heard from other programs and it could be a bonus as he continues through the recruiting process.

The only other official visit the five-star has locked in so far is to Alabama and he’s still working on a date. Taylor-Stuart has also talked openly about wanting to visit LSU. USC is considered one of his frontrunners as well and some other Pac-12 schools seem right in the mix.

In September, the San Diego Helix standout released a top 12 of Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Georgia, Oregon, Ohio State, Washington, Michigan, Illinois, USC, Texas A&M and Texas.

The Aggies have long been considered a top team but especially so after this summer when he hit it off with Texas A&M commit Leon O’Neal and some other pledges at the big-time offseason events.

Getting to College Station this past weekend was huge for Taylor-Stuart, who will continue to keep A&M high on the list even though he’s not ready to make any decisions yet.

“The A&M visit was great,” Taylor-Stuart said. “I like the players and the coaches and made great connections. Being around the game atmosphere is great even when they win or lose.”

Sounds like he misses home.

The New Jersey native is playing his senior season at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy. Sitkowski knew a couple days ago he'd be heading home. "That was the place in my heart," Sitkowski said. "Jersey is a very special place for me. Coach Richt is a great coach and knows how to develop quarterbacks and I'm appreciative of him recruiting me but I'm ready to come back home and get to work and try and bring Rutgers to the top."

Just another reminder that LSU fans are the stupidest sons of bitches on the planet as a whole:

quote:

SABAN will run right at WHIITE, all day long, to punish him.

Does anyone get the feeling that SABAN may RUN RIGHT AT DEVIN WHITE, up the middle. all DAY LONG, to punish him, of course, for his 'Disrespectful" statement. Saban also HATES STARS: Didn't he put 2 men on the Honey Badger in the 2012 BCS game just to make sure he didn't cause a turnover or have any impact? He sure didn't let Leonard go anywhere in 3 yrs because SABAN HAS TO BE THE ONLY STAR on the field, and he will actually Risk LOSING a game to make a point. I hope Aranda catches on to this tendency and draws up few formations to stop this very likely contingency ?

How the frick does one "put two men" on a Safety to keep him from making a turnover?

This man might have single handedly figured out the secret to Saban's success.
