So it's an official SEC sponsored sport but the titles don't count?

It's not an officially recognized NCAA title sport due to size, so no.

I say we count equestrian if Georgia and SC acknowledge that they are equestrian schools

You should also had the FWAA, if you're going to start adding things, because it was one of the major selectors for many years. Not our fault they fell off.
This is a good catch. They were the first major poll to always wait until after the bowls and awarded their own trophy through the 2013 season.

Ha the minute I expand for those football titles the "LOL Bammer titles" jokes start.
Everybody loves those until the method cost their school titles too.

It's a regional sport at best, with that few participating programs.
I don't have a problem with people calling it an NCAA regional title...just not national title.

Tennessee only has 2 AP Championships, 1951 and 1998. Just found that interesting

It is sad that it wasn't always done this way

Support.
Should make LSU feel even worse when we finish ahead of them in basketball.

So this was all just one big elaborate scheme to get us to recognize the 1941 title. NOT TODAY GUMP

Arkansas has 1 non running national title (2 if you count the football title). Florida and LSU have titles across the spectrum. I don't think you can lump Arkansas in there. JMHO.

There is not an "NCAA Equestrian Champion"
I mean, claim it if you want, don't really care, but if there aren't enough competing schools for a Top 25 it feels a bit hollow to me.
