I'd fire him just for the hair and glasses.

He has been consistently awful in the draft.

I don't understand why everyone gives Matt Ryan such a pass either.

Matt Ryan has been awful. He got hit a shite ton the last few years so that has definatly hindered him but he now looks shook every fricking game. I don't think he will ever be the same.

I agree. But too big of a financial investment to offload at this point. And his stock is way down for a trade. They have to make him better.......no choice. I think a better QB/OC hire could improve him. Guy has shown skills in the past. Shanahan's awful. Born on 3rd base and thinks he hit a triple.

Ryan has shown that he can win. Our playcalling and ol have been shite all year. If TD and Shan aren't unemployed at the end of the year I will lose all faith in the Coons and Blank.

Blank blew it this year. He should have fired Smith and Dimitroff, hired a real GM and let that GM hire a coach.

Hell, we have 3 count'em 3 GMs, Dimitroff, McKay and Pioli and still can't find our arse with both hands.

Just the law of averages would yield better results in the draft than these clowns.

Plus, Quinn is a 1st year head coach, not just a 1st year NFL coach, but a 1st year head coach at any level.

Blank is in a pickle, does he fire Dimitroff and hire from the current cast of clowns, does he go outside and hire a GM that did not pick this coach or does he throw the entire thing to now 2nd year head coach Quinn?

Really a mess. And it shows.

Yes, he looks and acts like a metrosexual dickhead who is more about appearance than substance.

Yes, he set the franchise back for a while by trading away future drafts for one player. The window to win a SB with Jones was very small and it was a gamble that only an arrogant prick would make.

Blank has enabled that douche to ruin the franchise so I hold him accountable. But it is his money....his team, so I don't feel one bit sorry for him.

Read somewhere (I think Jason La Canfora from CBS) that Atlanta may look at Seattle's assistant GM and get rid of Dimitroff and Pioli. The Seattle guy and Quinn would have similar visions on how to build the roster.

Dimitroff should have been fired Sunday afternoon which is what this discussion has become.

To answer the thread title - no. I ran into Dimitroff and Blank walking before the game on the 2nd club level in Charlotte several years ago. I complimented Dimitroff on what he had accomplished (they would go on to the NFCCG that year) and he stopped and spoke with me for a minute all the while Blank was looking at me like "who the frick is this guy?"

That sounds like one helluva good deal to me.

Ain't nothing wrong with being Seattle east.

Dmitroff have been gone with Smith last year. His top heavy approach towards team-building has been an absolute disaster. However, I haven't been completely unimpressed with his more recent drafts. With all that said, the three-headed GM monster we have going right now does not do anything to help form in kind of cohesive identity or style of play. We need a consolidation of power at the GM spot.

I would too.

When your a dude, and you spend that amount of time to make yourself look that retarded, your personality doesn't match that of a what a football GM should be.
