He may have no interest in it and he may wish nothing more than to live out the rest of his days golfing (and throwing his visor after missing a putt), but the man has always had legendary soundbytes and CFB will not be the same without Spurrier involved in some form or fashion.

sound bytes is different then being an analyst.

No kidding.
I for one think Spurrier would be awful on Gameday, CFB Live, or any other CFB show.
We love Spurrier because he is the quintessential southerner who doesn't give a shite about anything but golf, alcohol, and ball plays.
Do y'all think they could even get Spurrier to sit still in a chair that long? They'd cut over to him for some commentary, and he'd be off the corner with a bourbon, taking a piss on some bush while saying, "Whelp, kinda hot out today."

I don't think that he would be committed to watching all of those games. Spurrier actually has a life outside of football

He couldn't be worse than the last former Gamecock coach they hired.

He's headed to the golf course. If he doesn't already live on a course, he will in a few months.

Where have you gone, Steven Spurrier? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you...

I'd tune in late at night for a Spur and Sark daily recap show after they've been drinking all day. I'd love to hear the HBC unfiltered with a couple of drinks in him.

SOS is heading back home to Gainesville.
I will not be shocked if he starts working with Will while he is suspended.

Is he a big drinker?

I'd rather he just have a podcast where he speaks his mind, tells stories of th past and his 2 cents on life in general.
