I can't imagine my program having zero national or SEC titles since the SEC expanded in 92. I'd be really bitter too

Extremely deep. Beniquez Brown is returning and Richie Brown will start next to him, both have a ton of experience and Richie was defensive player of the week last year for the A&M game. JT Gray and Zack Jackson will battle for the hybrid LB spot that Matt Wells played last year.
I expect them to be pushed really hard by Traver Jung, Leo Lewis, and Gerri Green in that second/third string window.

We return the audible guy, the leader on our defense Bennie Brown. He was the one who called all the plays last year. McKinney actually wont be the hardest LB to replace. He generally came out on third down anyway and his backup Riche Brown came in. Riche finished like 4th or 5th on the team in tackles. The biggest loss was Matt Wells. Wells was a 6'2 225 pound LB who came in as a safety and ran a 4.35. He would of had higher draft stock but was blind in one eye. Not sure who will replace him, that will be the hardest player to replace on the team.

Thanks for the info
Why are yall agreeing to the PUSH at Dline with LSU?
We have no depth but the starters SHOULD BE legit, what is State situation on Dline?

considering we had Jennings at QB last season...this doesn't show what you think it shows
93 more yards and 2 more TDs.....with the Dak Attack
The difference is how spread out our passing game was. We had 12 different guys catch a TD pass last season. So yeah it shows exactly what I think it does.

You realize most of our defense is Juniors and Seniors who have been in the program learning the playbook for years right? I thought we went over this yesterday.

Not at all. The guys next to him are a RS SR and a RS JR. Both have a ton of playing time and have played really well.

Yeah a bunch of three stars... Serious question. When was the last time State had a good season then reloaded after losing 13 or more starters?
I will wait

That is what they call an "Appeal to ignorance" which means just because something has never happened doesn't mean you can logically argue it never will. But I forgot LSU fans don't understand what logic is.

Is this where LSU fans hang their hat on rivals rankings and then we pull their pants down on national TV again?

LSU has no safeties

Honestly, I don't know enough about your DL to argue otherwise.

We should be good there. Depth was a little bit of a question in the spring but it looks like it has filled in nicely. Our starting front will be Ryan Brown, Chris Jones, AJ Jefferson, and Nick James or Nelson Adams. So it should be pretty nasty. However, I'm cautious because replacing Preston Smith's production from last year is going to be difficult. However, Brown is more technically sound and NFL ready than Preston was, but whether he will be as big an impact is yet to be seen.

You recruited a lot of the same guys, this isn't your dad's Mississippi State.
DT: 4* and 5*
LB: 4*, 4*, 4*
CB: 4*, and Traveze Calhoun
S: 4*, 3*, assuming Jamal Peters isn't playing by then.

DLine Depth was right behind "QB Play" on the questions list this off season, Word is Coach O has put in serious work with who we have, but there have been a few moves and there is talk of 3-4 packages. Our DE's could possibly be some of the nastiest in the SEC this year with the speed and strength but DT/NT is very short handed with very little PT.
