It's been almost 18 years since we last got to laugh at Clint Stoerner

So let's do it again:

quote:

“The pro-style offense — there’s not a lot of them around in the country, and Bret Bielema chooses to remain in that style of offense and believes he can do it at the University of Arkansas. They have become, in my opinion, hands down, the best pro-style running game in the country.

And for old times sake

I feel like this should be a statue outside of Neyland stadium.

Well, Stoerner has joined the SEC Network so maybe he'll come back in 2018 to commemorate the event.

I still blame Nutt for that play. He called a PA pass play when running the ball would given us a chance to run out the clock. Stoerner tripped over Brandon Burlsworth's ankle on his drop and the rest is history.

It hurts to watch that gift wrapped turnover...I aint clicking...Ut was the luckiest f'ing team...we went into OT with them up in Knoxvegas and our FG kicker missed a chip shot. Of course the hillbillies stormed the field...it showed they hadnt been there before.

Another "almost" win for the Gators. Who would have known their fan base would claim the Moral Victory U title so soon

A statue of Billy Ratlif, the guy who caused and recovered the fumble?

That was because Billy Ratlif knocked your All-American straight backwards onto Stoerner.

It is at the farm because it killed Arkansas.

Either way, Tennessee was very lucky it happened.

Amen.

That is one sad story. Proves how unfair life is at times. Good guy works his way from walk-on to All-American and loses his life after making it to the NFL.

It saddens me to this day to think about it.

I'm not sure I agree with Stoerner, but the comments from Georgia and Florida fans are funny. The first one said Stoerner needs to get out of Arkansas to see what a good rushing offense looks like, but Stoerner's from Texas and played professionally for around 10 years (5 in the NFL).

Will Overstreet, an Ole Miss legacy player that got away was on that team. Played at Prep.
