Early 90s against southern miss... we lost... I also remember going to an early 90s Florida game at home that we lost... probably 91. USM might've been 92.
I may have gone to others before then, but I have no memory.
both were with my dad.

1990/1991...it was a shitty non conference opponent. I didn't start consciously following Auburn football until 1993. After that you couldn't pull me away from the TV.

I have no idea either. Barfield was the coach is all I'm sure of.

1998 Ole Miss I believe. At least, that's the first one I remember. I was 5.

Awesome first game.
Mine was 2001 vs Florida. I am partial, but mine is the best so far.

The first Auburn game I remember going to is the 1994 LSU game. However, I had no idea what a classic that game was.
That was my first game as a student. But my first game was 1979 Auburn LSU. I was a toddler and my dad was a student on the GI bill. He tells me I fell asleep under the bleachers in the student section.

2000 vs La Tech
I was 9 and I vividly remember how excited I was to see Rudi Johnson. I think the game was closer than it should have been, but I didn't care because Rudi had a huge game and that made me sooooo happy to see.

I went to that game with a Clemson fan :(
I actually went to the 2010 Clemson game with the same friend.
Most ungracious winner and sorest loser (literally threw a tantrum after the 2010 game) that I know. He's the only Clemson I know personally so I just assume they're all like that.

I was 9 and my brother and I walked in the locker room and the guys signed our program.
Different time. We were not big shots. My uncle who graduated in 1950 or so took us.

1989 Homecoming game, versus Southern Miss with a young Brett Favre at the helm. The details are fuzzy but I remember him tossing a TD with little time on the clock, in the corner of the endzone right in front of where I was sitting, to beat us 18-16 or something like that. I want to say USM also beat bama that same year. Only time in history they've ever done that. Electron Williams from Vigor was my favorite player that season.
Edit: looked it up. It was 1990, the score was 13-12 and Favre threw a TD with 46 seconds left to beat us.
