Because it's the offseason and this is the only time of the year Arkansas fans go full sail. Give them their time.

Wow me weak troll got two nimbles in no time. Makes me wish there was a Big 12 Rant, I would have been a legend on that forum.

OU "stomped" Tennessee?
With all of the could've, should've, would've horse shite yall bring up, that game could have been 24-17 Sooners if Worley didn't throw a pick on the goal line.

Not sure where you see Arkansas fans acting like it is such a big deal recently. If you are talking about when it happened, and anticipation of good things to come, yeah maybe.
Texas will always be a hated rival, whether they are a conference foe or not. The big deal is actually the direction the program was showing at the end of the season. Arkansas went 7-6 on the season, having played 6 of those games against top 10 opponents, with 2 more ranked #17. Two of those victories resulted in a combined 47-0 shutout of #17 LSU, and #8 Ole Miss, and very few teams would have welcomed a game against Arkansas late in the season last year.
If you have trouble understanding any, or even all of this, I submit that football may not be your sport.

Trolling Texas doesn't count as trolling. Its considered a public service. I'm fairly certain if you get sentenced to doing community service trolling Texas fans will count towards that.

You wouldn't understand it, it's an Arkansas thing.
You would have to know a little history.
You would have to know a little history.

For Arkansas, it was a big deal. It's that simple.
You can't expect programs with limited success to gauge success the same way as programs that consistently win big. Everything is relative.

Look, Texas leads the all-time series with the pigs 56-22. Even though it was one of the worst teams in the entire history of Longhorn football, it is understandable that Arkie celebrated like they just beat the Patriots to win the Superbowl.
To say they beat Texas is an understatement. I would use words like crushed, humiliated, embarrassed, destroyed.
Your little post simply tries to minimize how badly that Texas team got taken to the woodshed.
I would suspect anal bleeding is still going on in Austin to this day from that forced intercourse.
Hopefully, still being shell shocked from the beating Arkansas doled out will make the loss to Notre Dame sting less.

You're right, in a sense.
Due to our long history with them, we always take a little satisfaction in whipping Texas arse - no matter how good or bad they are. It's personal, you wouldn't understand.

You'd love to have won a bowl game in dominating fashion after suffering through John L Smith and his clowns.

If Arkansas does not fumble on the goaline we beat Bama. But, we did and lost by 1 point.
Bama escaped, because good teams make plays when given opportunity. Texas played OU much tougher than Tenner, that's fact!
That's not a knock against Tenner, your team showed their youth, but also showed your going to be a hard out in the future. Heck UT beats OU this year, you are a better team with some great players in place.

Wow, seriously? That's like asking why MSU fans act like their win over Ole Miss was such a big deal. Or LSU fans for their win over Ole Miss. Kansas fans for their win over Mizzou. To top it all off, you're best ally here is a TU fan, so I guess you really are an ACC fan.

Texas was terrible last year. We'll be much worse this year. I'd be shocked if we win 5 or 6 games. Strong will be fired after this season.
2015 will be rock bottom. ND will slaughter us. I am a realist.
None of this changes the fact that Arkansas hasn't won anything that matters in college football within the lifetimes of most of the people posting on this board.
