quote:There is no wrong in this situation. Patterson is a Rebel. If you think otherwise, you're overly obsessed on the LSU RB's.
People on here like to say things with 100% confidence. When they get proven wrong, they say they were just trolling. When they end up right, they pretend to be an insider.

Shea might stay committed to Ole Miss and he might pull all the IMG kids to Ole Miss with him, but even if he was committed to LSU, I wouldn't be confident in that and I wouldn't have any issues admitting that, its just called being rational
I wonder what the odds are historically for kids who plan to graduate in December, whose brother just took a coaching job at the school they committed to, and who actively recruit for the school they are committed to actually staying committed?
I bet it's pretty low. Ole Miss should go ahead and start lining up other options. Let's just be real, fellow rebel fans.

look
I don't care what y'all think
If I was an Ole Miss fan, I wouldn't be confident and it would worry me
some of the rumors just might be that, rumors, but generally the is always some truth hidden somewhere in the rumors
just being honest
but y'all continue to act like I'm just some butthurt LSU fan if that makes y'all feel better

So where do all the insider "rumors" have him flipping to?
Posted on 7/14/15 at 2:24 pm to hehatedrew
no rumors of him flipping anywhere yet
just the rumors of his Dad leveraging Shea for jobs for himself and his brother and that his Dad is just overall a shady guy

Everyone in the state of LA hates this kid right now because he's spurned LSU first and now he's spurned Calvary Baptist. Of course people are starting rumors about him. He's an Ole Miss committ that pissed off the entire state.

I for one am not one of those people. Im glad he's leaving Calvary so media outlets will stop referring to Shea as a Louisiana kid when in reality, he is from Texas. I can't speak for everyone but it just seems like Sheas dad is shopping out his own kid from what iv been reading which is creating a Cam Newton buzz.

you can go to the LSU RB's thread on this and I don't think you will find a single post talking bad about Shea
his Dad, yeah, but not Shea
his Dad, yeah, but not Shea

While I feel confident Shea will be a Rebel, a lot of things can change between now and December. His brother and the coaching staff could have a falling out or he could get offered a better job elsewhere. I don't know anything about Shea's father so I'm not sure if he is trying to leverage him for anything, but it wouldn't be the first time this has happened. Again, I'd put my money on it that he will be our starting QB next year, but after Richmond's flip, I won't be overconfident until the ink is dry.

so Ole Miss fans can be reasonable

Holy shite you're an idiot. First it's "you aren't a big deal and we only stormed the field because we saw you do". Then you pull out a misspelling that even autocorrect couldn't come close to fricking up.
Yup I'm an idiot! All because that one time when I mispelled lying, how will I recover.

Never said that? That ONE dumbass earlier in the thread did? But what would that have to do with me. Second day in a row I've noticed your feeble minded genralizations. Just as ignorant as the rest.

First off, Cece was never even committed to OM. Secondly, do you really equate those two to Shea? Should we also be afraid of losing DK Metcalf too? I mean he's an elite prospect like Richmond... So what he lives in Oxford because his dad played at OM in the 90's. I love this argument every year. Kids decommit, but much much much less often than staying committed. Do you honestly think Shea Patterson doesn't end up at OM.. You know.. Where his brother just took a job?
You're comparing a kid that lives in Oxford and has been a lifelong fan, whose dad played there, to a kid who is being shopped around the country to different high schools and has been an OM fan for about 6 months.
