You didn't like Purke's jauntily-styled cap?

Sinq is a great guy, I met him when we were both student Mgrs. His boss helped me get my job at the one school and we always traded gear when he was at ECU and TCU.

That guy... let's just say I have enjoyed watching him fail in the minors.
I am not saying that ALL TCU baseball players are/were dicks, but 95% of them.
Bryan Holaday, catcher for the Tigers now. We were playing UTA, and the UTA player bulldozed him over at home plate and he didn't hang onto the ball so the run scored. Holaday is a little bitch and starts a fight because of it. Don't remember if he got ejected or not but he couldn't face the fact that he got beat at home plate. It was stuff like that.
Kyle Bacak, catcher on the past CWS team, just got a 50 game drug suspension in the minors. I also relished that, he was toolbag that didn't know how to keep his mouth shut on or off the field.

He is a great guy - one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I only saw him get mad once. During the Fiesta Bowl when we played Boise State one of our players screwed up on a 3rd down play so one of my teammates threw his helmet on the ground in disgust and Sinq just started ripping into him about how we don't need to be doing that kind of stuff on the sideline.

Too much youth in LSU's rotation to make a statement like this.

With the start who do you see being the impact position player and pitcher?
All of them.

Christian Trent will be a pretty big impact pitcher for Ole Miss

Isn't TCU private? Would explain what type of trust fund bitches that school may get.

Our players are some of the nicest too. Really humble.
Christian Trent will be our ace.
Orvis will thrive with the new baseballs. Colby Bortles will be a star.
Tate Blackmon will surprise a lot of people.

College baseball may be worse than basketball when it comes to watered down product. At least the MLB let players go strait out of HS. I am a fan of the MLB rule....HS or three years in college.
But, most of the good prospects go pro.

quote:I think I understand your point but don't really agree with the end result. Everyone that competes for the best players lose those players to the pros right out of high school. Some even back off of those players because they know they are going to go pro out of high school. But if everyone loses them then it's all relative and it still creates a competitive product. The exceptions to sign out of high school, I know Florida had a pitcher a couple of years ago that turned down millions to go to college as did a guy at Vanderbilt.
