Learn from past Mistakes....Bama should not have been in the BCS NC game in 2011/12; especially matched against a team that beat them in regular season...

Bama should not have gotten a mulligan, they lost at home.
And Arizona beat Oregon AT Oregon earlier this year. Should they have had to play them again in order to win their championship? Get over it. The goal of BCS was to put the two best teams against one another for the title. In 2011, the two best teams were clearly Bama and Lsu. Not either of their fault that they come from same division of same conference.
It's over. Record books will forever show Bama as champs in 2011, despite constant and continuous whining from LSU fans trying to justify that embarrassment on 1/9 and some AU fans (like you) trying to do anything they can to diminish the accomplishments of their cross state rival. Let. It. Go.

Do you remember what had to happen for Bama to get in that game? No strange happenings yesterday. When you are a TCU or Baylor, you need to go undefeated to get in. They play Mountain West style football.

Easy. I don't think Alabama deserved to be in that title game then, and Baylor and TCU don't deserve it now.

Guess a couple of points to make here. 2014 is different from 2011 just like 2007 was different also. It depends on the current situation.
In 2011, although Alabama did not win a conference title, it truly was the 2nd best team in the country and deserved to be in the NC game.
If the LSU and Alabama teams of 2011 were playing this year, the 9-6 game occurred, etc. It would be difficult to keep both out of the playoff picture even with the Alabama loss to LSU in November of that year.

If LSU's only loss this year had been the overtime loss to Bama, who would say that LSU shouldn't be in the playoff?

LSU lost two games in 2007 and still made the national title game. Why punish Mississippi St, Michigan State, etc for only having two losses?
Correct me if I'm wrong, was there an undefeated team and 5 or 6 one loss teams in 2007?

Don't reward a conference who doesn't have a Championship Game and violates it's own rules when it comes to awarding a title. The Conference Commissioner is playing the Selection Committee

1. This isn't the same system.
2. You're still mad and forever processed.

I was going to troll, then I read this. A spark of light in an otherwise dreary fan base.

I stopped reading when I saw the combo of "LSU" and "2011". Nothing intelligent could come from this post.

nor play in the SEC title game, but yet they went to title game and won. So big deal if tcu and baylor didn't play a conference title game. At least bama had a chance to play a conference championship game and failed to make it. Why punish tcu or baylor?
Excellent point. No CCG, no conference title. Only 8 conference games, meaning they didn't even play 4 sec east conference teams. At least BU & Tcu played everyone in their conference.

Holy frick, do you ever stop bitching about 2011? Well, probably long enough to bitch about refs cheating.
I certainly don't hear you bitching about 2007 and two loss LSU getting in. Every year presents a different set of circumstances. So, go suck it, and be thankful our kicker couldn't make enough field goals in 2011 just to give you reason to gloat about 9-6.

Nebraska 2001
Oklahoma 2003
2 undeserving teams.
2 BCS losers

Well you could technically say they they had an even conference record with LSU after the bowl games
