Losing to MIZZOU would be an economic boon to Bama land

Yeah I know, you're Bama, you win NC's and nothing else matters but you may want to think about the economic growth that would come from a MIZZOU victory and how important it would be to the Gumpville economy.
Let's go through this scenario with just a few examples of why my previous statement has merit.
(1) Carpet cleaners totally inundated for weeks cleaning carpets and furniture from the Gumps watching the big screen and losing their bowels after the Bama loss.
(2) Retail sales of TV's, home theater equipment, chairs, miscellaneous household goods destroyed in fits of rage and disbelief.
(3) General contractors repairing drywall damage, plumbing fixtures, doors, windows, etc.
(4) Auto body repair from drunken gumps loose on the road smashing into shite left and right.
(5) Liquor/beer sales hitting record levels across the state in an attempt to drown the pain.
Look this is just what the Bama economy needs and MIZZOU is more than happy to help our SEC brethren jump start the economy in your poverty stricken state.

Don't forget the local hospitals and morticians when they stab each other for not being upset enough at the loss.

noun, plural ironies.
1.
the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning:
the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend.
2.
Literature.
a technique of indicating, as through character or plot development, an intention or attitude opposite to that which is actually or ostensibly stated.
(especially in contemporary writing) a manner of organizing a work so as to give full expression to contradictory or complementary impulses, attitudes, etc., especially as a means of indicating detachment from a subject, theme, or emotion.
3.
Socratic irony.
4.
dramatic irony.
5.
an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected.
6.
the incongruity of this.
7.
an objectively sardonic style of speech or writing.
I think #5 is what you were angling at. Nobody "expected" you to be correct, therefore, not irony.

Despite my Gumpdom, I am fairly well self-taught in economics.
