How to beat Georgia Tech

I don’t give a shite if you get a late hit or unsportsmanlike penalty, you make that QB regret he stepped on the field.
The QB makes it all work. If he drops back to pass, hit him. If he keeps, hit him. If he pitches the ball, hit his arse anyway. Make him hesitate.
You do that, you beat the option.
Stop the dive and beat the hell out of the quarterback. Timeless advice.

Somebody needs to remind our players of a few things - like how they love to rip up the hedges, how they (fans and all) belittled the death of Munson, etc., etc., etc.

I support this....and it doesn't matter whether it's option football or not...I tell my defenses this before every game...the QB...he is the guy....make him question himself, and you can win

It pains me to see defensive players pull up when an option QB makes the pitch. The QB gets drilled in the option whether he makes the pitch or not. Cost of doing business as an option offense IMO.

i think we learned our lesson from florida. if some players havent then we have the coaches to refresh their memories. i dont see us losing to the nerds with how well our defense has been playing

Yes. QBs get hit after they pass the ball all the time
