Agree man. Kid was amazing. Had he gone any where and just played football he could have been in the NFL for a long time.

Hampton Roads has produced some helluva athletes to say the least. I lived there for a while and they talked about Bubba Chuck (Allen Iverson) like he was still playing high school at the present time.

Thanks for correcting me. I just remembered him playing a good bit.
He was probably overrated as a basketball prospect (due to football hype and winning the McD's slam dunk contest) but at the same time it's hard to know because he was splitting his time between two sports.
As to basketball affecting his football career, his participation in basketball at UNC certainly stunted his development as a QB. Who knows what happens if he focused on football, but he was absolutely an extraordinarily gifted talent.
