I'm gonna go with UGA. I think the teams in the West could beat each other up. No pushover games.(assuming Bert improves Arky like many expect.) Too many great coaches in the West. UGA will always have the SOS needed considering the OOC schedule they usually play along with the SEC schedule. Damn near got the chance to be ND's destroyer.

Since I can't pick UGA, I pick the school with the best recruiting. Alabama.

How long before A&M fans get upset because nobody is picking them?

I can see the SEC, as a whole, being "down" this upcoming season. I'll say Bama based on recent history, but I could easily see them losing 3+ games.

I pretty much agree with your assessment but I would give Auburn 3 or 4 tick marks. As much as I would love to see Georgia win a NC, Richt has yet to put together a complete team. Hopefully with Pruitt at DC that will change; defense has been the limiting factor for most of Mark's teams at least in the 2nd half of his tenure.

Since I can't say Bama I'll go with LSU although I have a hard time picturing it this year with a freshman qb. Of course y'all do have an experienced oline and a solid defense so anything can happen.
