Well that's good news. Great depth and should be good for next year as well.

I watched this kid when Lassiter played Walton a few years back. I beleive he was the fastest kid on the field, including Tyren Jones, the RB from Walton that went to bama.

Me too. Was about 10 yards from him when he made the over the shoulder sideline catch. I thought right then and there that he should have an offer from UGA.

I was watching on tv (had a nephew on the Walton squad) and I couldn't beleive a white kid was that fast. Pretty good hands too from what I saw.

Natrez Patrick says he's gonna recruit josh sweat

I assume that's what the 247 update was?

We have 4 DE's with Ledbetter leaning towards the good guys. How many DE's are we looking at with Josh Sweat still in the picture.

Patrick, Rivers, Sweat basically. Ledbetter's more of a tackle. Walker could have a change of heart and play linebacker, but I'm not hopeful. Patrick could play DE or any LB spot.
Vasser I think will play DT or a strong side DE position.
ETA: Thompson and Huggins are pure inside guys

Not sure if this is old and I don't have the link, but I was reading some of the 247 boards and according to the buckeye board Josh Sweat was comparing the facilities at tOSU to UGA. Saying things like, "Oh well Georgia has that and Georgia has this."
Also, every article I read on Sweat he mentions the dawgs multiple times. Take all of this for what it's worth.

UGA is his dream school. He's said that on record.
IMO, it will come down to UGA and VT. Dream school vs. home school

Starting off the season with a couple of big wins may be all we need to seal the deal with a few of the big time recruits on our board. Isn't Sweat an early enrollee?

He's trying to be an EE, not sure yet. He says his grades are definitely good enough, he just has to figure out the schedule.

I haven't followed recruiting as much this year as in the past..do we have a realistic shot at Sweat?
If we got the #1 and 2 players in the country, both on the DL..omg.

Yes, we have a very realistic shot. Should be back on campus during the season for an OV
