Burning a flag is idiotic. Better to demand accountability for idiotic coaching. When a team is led by a head coach who can't even understand when to spike the ball, all is lost.

Coaches and players come and go but UGA will remain. It's stupid to burn that flag.

It's his property who cares what he does with it. Imagine how much Alabama gear will hit the Landfills in the next few weeks.
Maybe he's pissed because the coaches and administration got a new building and spacious offices and the players are still having to throw around that heavy ball Jack Elaine gave the school back in the 1940's for strength & conditioning.

This is an outrage. There are so many other losses much more worthy of flag burning.

Totally inappropriate. Should just fly it upside down instead for a program in distress.

Steve Rodgers had just returned to his Jacksonville home with longtime friend and fellow UGA fan Chad Mullarkey, who videotaped the flag burning.

Wow...I could never do that. I had mine flown over Camp Cunningham and flown in an F-15E while I was in Afghanistan. It proudly flies every gameday.
Go Dawgs!

If he really feels that passionately then he should protest by stop buying UGA gear (like his cap and the flag in the first place) and stop going to UGA games. Protest by not buying into UGA until there is change. Burning the flag is disrespectful.

Burning a team flag is silly but a true fan doesn't do that even if you get a little upset over it. Football will never be that important that it comes into my personal life. I did get a Todd Gurley card the other day but instead of burning I had it graded and encased. :)

I would have to say anyone who burns anything in effigy has crossed a threshold of insanity.
Something else going on in there besides just football.
