This is what happens when you fill too many jars. Happened alot when we played LSU in the 90s.

Only an eight game lead?
Sad.

I mean, I am assuming it is more than glorified boy scouts, so that is why I am asking.

1)Have to be in the corps to be in the band.
2)Scholarships.
3)Looks good on resume.
4)Same reason people join frats.

You get a scholarship even if you do not intend on joining the military?

There are Corps of Cadets-specific scholarships that don't carry military obligation.
Like WBS said, it's really similar to Greek life in some regards.
And whether you go into the military or not, as a Corps member you have to go through the same ROTC training that military contract members go through for the first couple of years, just like other senior military colleges.

I've always wondered... is it "easier" to get into aTm if you join the corps these days? Are the admission standards a tad lower vs a regular applicant, just so they can keep the corps numbers strong?
ETA: and by strong, I mean to maintain that small percent of the student body, as the undergrad student body slowly grows year after year.

They're pretending to squeeze their junk. When things are tense during games you'll hear "squeeze ags." Until this picture i always thought it was just figurative.
Picture sucks, makes us look weird, but it is what it is.

I asked myself the same question at that game, when i was about 100 feet away from them.
Getting owned by Tech for a decade did weird shite to us. It took a while, but i'm over my battered Aggie syndrome.
