Have others said that in a positive or negative manner? Kyle is going to look fantastic but the endzone upper decks just look a bit too top-heavy/lopsided to me, "The Zone" in particular.

it will look better when complete in 2015. that gap in the SW corner (on the right) will be filled in

I could see the interior resembling Beaver Stadium appearance wise (ours should be very modern, I don't know when a Penn St most recently updated concourses and such) but Kyle should be much more aesthetically pleasing from the outside than it. I've driven through State College on the highway and it is an absolute monstrosity from the exterior.

it will be interesting to see what they do to make it somewhat flow together. the ribbon boards help

Yeah I'm a little concerned about it but we will see

Yeah I was referring to that upper deck section only but now that I look at it I could see how the interiors will be similar. The exterior at Kyle will look far better, obviously.

I am withholding judgement on Kyle Field until it is done. If it turns out half as as the renderings it will be badass.

A lot big stadiums don't flow well and aren't even close to symmetrical.
IMO that is why so many people like BDS. They were able to keep it more uniform than most.

i mean yea a bunch of people have a stadium that doesn't flow together but that doesn't mean it looks as good. just my opinion

I dont like when endzone upper decks in some stadiums are bigger and higher than sideline upper decks. It seems they should be reversed. But I know that many of these stadiums and their sideline upper decks were built years ago

Nebraska was a king of that until their most recent expansion.

That stadium looks like it is only 2 stories tall.

You can see the new rows in the north endzone. And before someone comments on it blocking the tunnel, that tunnel will be gone in 2015 once they redo the west side.

I forgot they were adding seats there
Posted on 6/19/14 at 2:10 pm to Farmer1906
Impressive. And I just realized the SEC will finally have more 100,000 plus seat stadiums than the Big 10 now (unless I'm forgetting someone). When it was just UT with 100,000 plus, I thought the league would never get there.

Here is a pic that shows the 3 concourses. You can see the see how big it gets on the frist level.
