Congrats on % of seats filled title. Maybe it can hang next to Ole Miss Co-SEC West champs banner!!!!!!
Are the rotting south end zone seats that people get for free included in the 59k calculation?

Honestly, a big problem with our gameday experience is the lack of convenient parking and the lack of good roads into and out of the stadium area.
Both of those items are being improved over the next couple of years.
If we go to 82k or so, which sounds reasonable to me, we won't fill it up immediately.
Hell, in 2001 I never thought we would fill up 72k, ever. We added 20k seats in that expansion. Metro growth and enrollment growth have taken us up.
An 80k seat stadium for us isn't unreasonable to fill a lot of the time. That's all we're talking about here.

You're the first to ever utter that statement.

I'm not sure where to start here. First of all, the north endzone is the end that's not bowled in. Second, they aren't made of wood. And 3rd, they aren't free.
Yes they are included.

It includes war memorial's capacity in the calculation, dumbass. Otherwise it would be like 150% capacity

Yep, expansion of Razorback Road to four lanes is coming

They are free and the seats are terrible, worse than an old high school stadium. I was shocked at how bad of shape Vaught Hemmingway was in.

Yes, the first leg of it is nearing start. They are four-laning to Bud Walton arena.
That will help a lot with gameday traffic, since there are only two directions to get away from the stadium on gameday.

Won't another parking garage be built just north of Maple in 5-10 years? I think I read that somewhere. :parkingdeckU:

Sorry your roads are dirt and don't really have lanes
Posted on 2/1/13 at 3:06 pm to FulmersGonnaFixIt
Four-lanes next to the stadium, dummy. As of now, the campus roads are all two lanes, which is actually nicer, IMO.

Yes, there will be a deck NE of Maple/Leverett in the near future.
The Dickson Street parking deck by the city breaks ground this summer.

Knoxville is larger than Fayetteville.
Subtract ghetto areas and they are closer in size to each other.

I don't think Tennersee fans are in any position to comment on the health of athletic departments.
