LSU could hire Bobby Petrino as OC and the offense would still be awful. The offensive problems at LSU are not OC related.

To answer the OP, Sumlin is nothing special.

Well how fricking long does it take?

It seems every other program can at least march as serviceable QB out there year after year. Only at LSU do they still blame a QB getting kicked off the team 4 years ago for their lack of ability to develop and field a decent, and consistent, QB.

Mett wasn't the problem this year, it was the O-Line. LOL if you think otherwise

Then what do you think they are? It definitely isn't the talent level.

I think he is saying they are Les Miles related. As in, he will frick up in offensive coordinator no matter how skilled.

Sumlin said that he was recently on a radio show with former coach Rick Neuheisel, who told him he must be the luckiest coach alive because he’s had the opportunity to tutor Johnny Manziel, Case Keenum, Sam Bradford, Jason White, Drew Brees and Drew Bledoe during his career. Sumlin listed the quarterbacks off to us, then winked and said, “Yeah, I think it’s pretty much luck.”

Hope you're not talking about Tannehill. Kragthorpe coached WR here and missed about 80 percent of the season in 2010 because his wife was sick. If memory serves correct, he was hired Jan 2010 and basically resigned September 2010.

Mett was equally as bad if not worse.

No. He played well all season. The WRs sucked in the 1st half of the season then the OL shite the bed in the last 2 games.

Well at least he knows it. Never recruited and developed a QB worth a shite as a HC.

I believe Johnny Manziels raw talent and the training he had over the summer had more to do with his success than Sumlin did. Wasn't Manziel pretty bad during the spring?
